Ordering was simple, meal arrived promptly without any problems. Delivery charge is a bit expensive compared to others. Quality of food was tasty but lacking ingredients, combination usually means a variety of ingredients, they seemed to be lacking in the omelette. Overall it was still tasty. Would I use again... Probably not.

Ordered takeaway on Menulog - simple, no fuss, received a txt message within 2 mins confirming our order, and delivery was 1 hour later at peak time. The food was amazing - BBQ pork was great quality tender meat you don't usually find these days, the Szichuan Beef was just amazing, will be ordering again when back in Brisbane for... More

I reckon this Chinese restaurant/take away has the best steamed dim-sims in Brisbane.Every time we go to this place we always order several serves of these delicious steamed gems. Obviously, like all Chinese eateries, this place has a long and varied menu which caters to all tastes. I recommend the honey king prawns as excellent value. 10-12 plump prawns in... More

Ten adults and two kids had a good night out at Mr Wongs! Service was a bit slow as staff seemed a bit short....mid week? We helped ourselves to extra spoons to share the soup. No problems! Fine with us! Food was plentiful and hot. Mr Wongs deep fried quail is the best...we keep coming back for it!

Once upon a time, and not that long ago, this place had so good a reputation that people didn't hesitate to recommend. Not now. First meal in a while and stunningly disappointed by the change in the quality of the food. Large fried rice wasn't - more like steamed rice with a few prawns on top. I agree with others.... More

This place was poor, in fact one of the worst places I've ever been to. Very tired decor and staff young and didn't care. Ordered our food and the waitress wasn't listening and got the order wrong and then our starter was missed all together because she didn't write it down. My partners meal came out 7 mins before mine... More

Got takeaway from here - large fried rice, prawn toasts, fish with ginger and shallots, green veg with oyster sauce and chicken and almonds. Not impressed. Sauces were really watery and not flavoursome at all, and the fried rice was like steamed rice with a few prawns thrown on top. Mr Wong's used to be great years ago, but I... More

I am constantly disappointed with the Maitre d' when being seated. This is the 3rd time in a row I have been to Mr Wongs after lining up and being 2nd or 3rd in to be told the whole place is booked out and they will need the table back after 1 hr 15mins knowing that they do not take... More

Dined at Mr Wong's Chinese Restaurant last evening. Nice little restaurant, simple but pleasant decor, separate take-away counter. We had the crab and corn soup and chicken and corn soup, both delicious. followed by prawn cutlets, a bit over-cooked and also the Shandy (Beef and Black Bean, Pork, Spring Rolls and Special Rice) which was very tasty. Service was excellent... More

We frequent Mr Wong's, probably once a month - so it musn't be too bad. The prices are a little inflated & the food / service can be hit or miss depending on which staff are working. But generally you will be happy with the quality.
