We booked into Powerscourt Hotel and took the meal option to eat at this Restaurant. Fortunately they had made a booking for us as the restaurant was full. There was a modest selection of dishes. The food was all beautifully presented with sensible portion sizes. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. If staying at the hotel you won't be disappointed... More

We stayed at Powerscourt for three wonderful nights and were looking forward to the dinner at Sika. The service was an absolute joke. We kept looking around for cameras to see if we were on one of those candid camera shows. Our reservations were for 6:00pm for four people. When my husband and I are arrived, there was nobody in... Good food, adbominable service...inexperienced, untrained personnel, in a beautiful setting, and good food too. A wonderful setting but poor service ....no soup spoons , delay in service, no wine order taken, shouting out "who ordered xxxx", and to cap it all , when the bill was being paid by our host (who discretely had written the bill plus service on... I was treated to an evening in Sika restaurant, in the wonderful surroundings of the Powerscourt Hotel and Estate, for my birthday........WOWwwwwwwwwwwww.........The first thing I found amazing was this fantastic Estate hidden in the Wicklow/Dublin Mountains (just 40 mins drive from the city center) and the amount of people there on a Sunday evening. This is not one of those... More

Delicious spread with especially well chose fruit and creamy scrambled eggs. The pork sausage was tasty and mild. Table service attentive and friendly. Decor a bit too modern for such an old beauty of a place!

Very good food, with interesting menu. Wood pigeon and venison were excellent. Pannacota well balanced for dessert. Service is somehow eager to please but lacking style. New waitress could not properly explain options in dessert menu. Asking every 3 min on how is everything is also a bit intrusive for me anyways.

The breakfast buffet at this restaurant never disappointed. The service seems continuous, since the original waitstaff assigned to your table was always supplemented by others who were always available and would bring you what you needed. It was great to start each day with such positive experiences that the rain never dampened our outlook. We loved it!!

Wonderful extremely helpful staff & delicious food both at dinner or breakfast...just terrific! They all went out of their way to make each & every dining experience memorable! Don't miss the chocolate bombe if you go there for dinner or just go for dessert, it is fabulous!
