Was our last supper after our 5 day Eire visit , sleepy town, seemed like best option. Very friendly barmaid, we had relaxed meal before our flight to London. Great burgers, rice pudding fantastic, perhaps little dark but would go back. ( Adrian Bartley, your mum lives there, Mrs Bartley have left small drink behind bar for you). Great place,... More

We were passing through and stopped here for lunch. The pub was cosy and it was nice to sit by the fire. The menu had lots to offer but we both opted for the toasted special. It was delicious, a great toasted sandwich, good coleslaw and the nicest homemade chips. Yum! The staff were friendly. A lovely place for lunch.

The beer was fresh. The pub is comfortable, pleasant and the food was good. The apple pie was especially nice

Our little American family stumbled in on a rainy evening for dinner with the locals. The barkeep gave us directions to a hurling match just down the road and explained the sport to us. The chicken wrap was delicous.

After traveling all day, the B&B owner suggested Hunters. It was perfect for our exhausted, hungry bodies. Good service, good atmosphere, cold beer, fast service, hot food, good kid's menu, comfort food, and all at a reasonable price. Nothing fancy here, but perfect for our family tonight!

The staff was great. We were welcomed by 3 local patrons when we entered and the welcome was very warm. Food was great, especially the vegetable soup. If you are in the area, it is well worth the stop.

We had spent the day touring County Clare and were ready for something to eat, preferably in a restaurant or pub that was smaller and locally owned and run. We happened upon "The Hunter's Lodge" and were glad we did! We met the owner, Robbie, who was awesome! He took the time to chat and make recommendations while still taking... More

My husband and I ate a relaxing dinner at this restaurant. He had the Salmon and Cod with mixed vegetables, and I had the Pork Roast with fresh cooked carrots and peas. Both meals were well prepared. We also shared an awesome apple pie for dessert. The prices are very reasonable, and our waitress was friendly and helpful. Great place... More
