Our traditional Irish breakfasts, Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale, Eggs Florentine, Honeypot Glam porridge and granola, are just a few of our highly rated breakfast options. Most of our breakfast options are available daily to close. Breakfast is followed by a scrumptious lunch menu including daily specials, our much sought after Afternoon Teas and home made desserts. We have a sweet and savoury Buttermilk Pancake Stack menu that’s second to none in Donegal. Our Manhattan Styline, New Yorker and Nutella Buttermilk Pancake Stacks are particularly popular. Ijust love this place. It is warm and cozy and the owners and staff are very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food is excellent, flavoursome and consistent, and I am totally obsessed with their Eggs Benedict, which is on a breakfast/brunch section of a gorgeous menu. And the coffee is great!
I also left my car keys in the restaurant on one occasion, and didn't realise until after the restaurant had closed. The owner responded immediately to a Facebook message and arranged for one of the staff to return to the restaurant to get my keys to me. I am indebted to Dee and Michael for saving my bacon, and they did so with charm and complete goodwill. I remain super impressed.
If you are anywhere near Letterkenny, check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Went to Letterkenny, first time visit, not sure what was open as first week since restrictions lifted.
Rang in advance. Booked in with one coeliac with dairy allergy.
Arrived and found hand sanitizer outside and inside and tables nicely spread apart.
We got a nice end table.
Staff friendly and accommodating.
Food was excellent. My son usually hates gluten free bread, but there was not a crumb left on his plate from this fabulous menu.
Have 3 recommendations though.
Face masks were not correctly fitted and staff have to keep fixing them, would recommend the wearing of visors instead.
Also another hand sanitizer at toilet door is necessary. Gets very busy at till area with people paying so maybe one person allowed at till only and party remains seated and leaves immediately.
Doing a great job but needs to be fully covid safe.

Visited this place for a mid-morning coffee and scone. It was excellent, coffee was great and scone was heated up and came with butter, jam and cream so I had a great choice. This place is quirky, friendly and busy (which is always a good sign). Will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place 😊

The Honeypot never disappoints. We ate breakfast here as a family on Monday morning, we booked ahead of arrival and were as always greeted with a smile. The service in Honeypot is always fantastic. My husband had a cooked breakfast, I had the Manhattan skyline and the kids each had Nutella hits. There were 5 empty plates! As always the food was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The premises are delightful, such attention to detail is given and everywhere is spotlessly clean. Great effort is obvious in regard to the current pandemic with good social distancing, clear signage and sanitiser readily available for use. If you visit Letterkenny you must give this little spot a try, you will not be disappointed.

We booked afternoon tea here for our Mum as a treat before Christmas, staff were very helpful and so nice to Mum.
Food was really nice and very well presented, all our allergy requirements were catered for.
Staff really went out of their way to decorate the table and make some really nice goodies for us at a busy time of the year.
Will certainly return again.

This place had an excellent menu, all the standard meaty options, fresh fruit and healthy options and tasty omelette and eggs options. I had the eggs Royale with salmon and it is a great way to start the day on our road trip. Lovely staff and prompt service. A great Cafe with excellent lunch options too

First and sadly last time I will visit. Simply had 2 hot chocolate drinks and was charged almost 10 euros when I went to pay. Board advertising hot chocolate for 4 euro but when I went to pay they added 60cent for some mini marshmallows and 60cent for cream. Total rip off I've never been charged for marshmallows separately in a hot chocolate ever. Even the Raddison hot chocolate is cheaper and better !! If they are going to charge over 5 euro for a cuppa then advertise it. Very disappointing 😞

I was very disappointed with the service during a recent visit to Honeypot. Firstly we were left waiting for about 20 minutes before our orders were taken. I appreciate that it can be busy, however I seen several workers standing about and another table that came in after us got served before us. We didn't even get an apology from the server. I ordered a latte and they gave me a latte with some sweeteners or something, because it did not taste like the regular latte.

It's so good to see Honeypot back, same high standard as always, feels the same too you're just on the other side of the glass. Their outdoor seating area is cosy and comfortable, the covering gives lovely lighting, super clean and staff are great. Booking your table couldn't be easier.

Got a takeaway brunch this morning for 6 people - couldn't have been easier to order and collect. Dee was so quick to reply when sent enquiry and even messaged us to say it was ready (though we were just outside), then the staff helped carry everything to the car in the pouring rain! Food was lovely as always. Thanks again guys!

Accidently Stumbled upon this absolute gem while driving through letterkenny. Had Beautiful toastie and coffee. It's dog friendly so the dogs and my family were able to get out and have a lovely break from a long drive.
Such a friendly atmosphere, honestly so gorgeous the soft chairs. Beautiful outdoor area. Margaret and all the staff were so caring and friendly and made our experience even better. They even gave the dogs a wee sausage

A massive well done to the guys helping those in need by setting up Chef Aid Letterkenny. Making sure the vulnerable and elderly are able to cope in time of crisis. Exactly what that community needs. Fantastic!

Stopped by for lunch. Lovely welcoming staff, chilled out atmosphere and spotlessly clean. I had the “Classic Burger”, which was absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend the Honey Pot for both sweet & savoury dishes. Thanks, I will be back…next time I’ll bring friends.

Service was efficient, friendly and quick. We were asked if everything was ok when our table was served. The dishes were well presented and nicely garnished. I was a bit disappointed with the filling in my vegan sandwich. In my opinion the vegetables were sparse, if it had been packed tight with the yummy roast vegetables, it would have been perfect. No complaints from the lunch date.

I had a catch up with a friend last week and we visited Honeypot. I was very pleased with the food (kinder Bueno pancake special). However, the service was a little slow. We were left sitting out outside for quite sometime and we had to ask could we order. Another table,which was also outside had came in after us and they ordered before us.
