Food was excellent, staff very friendly! We ate lunch and dinner here the first night. Quiet and peaceful.

The burger was cooked perfectly and the honey mustard glaze on a moist piece of salmon were all very good. The atmosphere is very traditional and charming. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

Good selection, good service, lovely atmosphere in the bar. They have very friendly staff and often have music at night. Even by day, if there is a GAA match on, the atmosphere here is great

We stayed in The Waters Countey House and as they only cater for breakfast we came here to Hylands Burren Restaurant and the food was fab! The staff were so friendly and would definitely eat here again when visiting again :-)

Our main course arrived before our starters and staff were very slow to come to the table to take our order. The food itself was ok.

I'd forgotten how quiet Ballyvaughan gets during November so was surprised to find Hyland's to be the only place open for dinner midweek. I do like the bar area which is a fun place to have a few pints. Unfortunately the food didn't match up....More
