Besides the Guinness, the food was fabulous, I recommend the stew or the fish and chips, the staff was very attentive, and the locals provided for great conversations! Always a recommended pub to visit

Had not been to Keanes for good few months, and again I was not dissappointed. The place was so bright and loved the new colour scheme. The staff were so helpful, and as it was Tuesday, they were fairly busy. Two waitresses were there, and a lovely young man, whom during the evening said that he was just training. One... More

Fabulous food, friendly staff, if we were staying longer in the town we would have revisited again and again. Try the smoked salmon starter.

I really enjoyed visiting Keanes for the first time last bank holiday weekend. The music was really good with a friendly and fun crowd. I had forgotten what fun it is in a good Irish Pub.

Friendly people, interesting history and atmosphere in this store. It is one of, if not the oldest business in Gort.

My husband and I went there to eat, sat in the bar area and waited for 25 minutes to get the menu to order our food, and then another 35 minutes to get our food! the waiter never asked how was the food or anything. I would not go there again

Keanes has plenty of room to enjoy a meal. We visited on a Monday evening. Choosing the hake dish from the menu I was more than delighted. The fish sat on potato pieces and came with a freh salad. Bailey's cheese cake with whipped cream followed and a glass of Irish ale to wash it down. Friendly service and reasonably... More

We ate here twice for dinner while in Oranmore. Normally, we like to try different places when we visit an area for the first or second time, but Keanes was so good, we went back for a second night given how much we liked the first. Good food, good prices, attentive staff...can't ask for much more.

Thank ervul
