Staying in Cashel for a night and booked this restaurant for dinner without knowing it. Had one of the best meals I have had anywhere in a long time. Fine dining but with a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The food was amazing, good wine...More

Believe me, this really was the best meal I’ve had in Ireland - and the best anywhere in a long time. Great atmosphere of a light-filled converted chapel, the excellent and informal service I’ve come to expect in Ireland, but wonderful food too. Pulled pork...More

In Cashel, having visited Rock, looking for tea and scone. Chez Hans said they couldn’t offer that, but were about to open for lunch. Realizing the time, and that the town seemed very quiet, thought we’d better take advantage. Since we were the first customers...More

Who could ask for anything more. Although it's a converted church, the atmosphere is of a medievil castle. The food was served at a liesurely pace that allowed time for conversation between courses. After two hours, we were sated.

Setting is in what appears to be an old church - a bit pricey but worth the experience. The food is wonderful and staff is great.

Lovely place just down the road from Rock of Cashel. Really high quality food, interesting, quirky, fairly priced wine list and fabulous friendly service. I would go out of my way to go back again.

We were a group of four and we had an excellent meal here. The food and service was first class. There was ample time between courses and everything was very relaxed. We look forward to our next visit.
