We were looking for a venue for food & drinks with a mixed aged family group of 29, close to middle of town and Sean Tierneys did not disappoint. Sean and his staff looked after us well and the food was "spot on" and reasonably priced. Sean offered us sole use of a large homely upstairs room which gave us... More

We went for dinner and give it very high marks. Served by Sean himself - a very nice man who takes obvious pride in his establishment. The food was terrific, service top-notch, and setting truly remarkable!

Stopped in her on route for a bite - Sean very friendly a lovely cosy pub. We were just having a quick bite, but my husband had the chicken goujons and chips, I had the steak sandwich both were really tasty. I would definitely stop here again.

This is an under appreciated pub in Clonmel, which may work in favor for a holidaymaker as the pub is often very quiet. It is beautifully decorated and conains a host of antique items giving the place an edge of history and character. The food here is delicious, and for dessert I recommend the bread and butter pudding. Yum.

The bar is really lovely and so many odds and ends to keep you interested while you're waiting to your order but it's not enough to make you return. The food is simply bland and too expensive for what you're getting. We've tried it twice and both times it was tasteless. Pity as it's a cool place.

Came in here as it's well rated on TA. When we visited it was quiet but Monday evening anywhere was quiet. The ladies had plaice and chips, Lasagne and a burger whilst I opted for the chicken curry. All very tasty and extra chips supplied free without asking. Friendly staff and the food prices reasonable I'd recommend a visit.

After spending all day hiking up the Comeragh mountains, we bailed into the pub, hungry, tired and cold. We were greeted with a big smile, a warm fire and excellent hearty food. Great Guinness and fantastic hospitality in a cosy pub bursting with character and intrigue. Highly recommend it
