Had dinner on a wednesday and the food is better than expected. The attention to the tables can improve. Wine, an important aspect of dinner to me, is acceptable but not outstanding. Presentation of food and quantity good.

One of best places to eat in the Midlands. Food is prepared each day and is very fresh and tasty. Nice open dining room and great wine by the glass. If one complaint, room is noisy and tables are very close together.

Called into this wee place for a bite. We both had the delicious home made apple and cinnamon crumble. My sister had the coffe, and was delighted with it. My tea was lovely. The cafe is situated on a corner, and has lovely views of the busy streets. The food we saw being served to other tables looked beautiful. Nice ambience... More

Had dinner here over the holidays, the atmosphere was buzzing, warm and comfortable. The food was delicious, special mention to the starter platter of hummus, pickle, etc which got the meal off to a super start! It is very easy to have a lovely evening here. Although this is not an inexpensive restaurant, it offers great value for money.

Beautiful bistro lunch, served by April. Service amazingly professional and friendly. Lunch was fresh cod goujons and saute potatoes, bangers and Mash followed by simply perfect apple crumble. Seriously contemplating a return visit for dinner.

Here's a restaurant which would hold its own quality-wise in any city or town in Ireland. We arrived when it was quiet, but it quickly filled up for a Saturday lunch, and with good reason. An appealing menu, with a good range of specials, we went for a prawn, chorizo and potato main course salad; and a chicken breast on... More

There is a lovely atmosphere in this restaurant. The menu has a good selection and food is well presented. The wine list us extensive and varied. The staff are the best thing about this place, so friendly and cheerful!

My daughter and I left Dublin at 10:30 am. It was time for lunch and luckily we found a parking spot across the street from this lovely bistro. Attractive service team, sharp and attentive. Hot, comfortable potato leek soup with a soda bread made in house, grainy and delicious. My fish 'n chips were well prepared, the stand out on... More

Feeling very hungry after an exhibition opening in the wonderful Luan Gallery we were directed to the Left Bank. We were a group of 6 with no booking and it was no problem! The food here is excellent. We ordered 2 platters as starters for the table, seafood platter and the mezze platter, both delicious. I ordered the Aromatic roasted... More
