Wonderful menu, superb ingredients and excellent execution. Had great lunch and only sorry I hadn't time for dinner on another day! Location and service unobtrusive, but well worth finding.

Had tea and scone here and my companion had tea and chocolate cake. Both scone and cake were very fresh and most enjoyable. Staff were nice and friendly.

We had an excellent dinner here with good food and drink at a reasonable price. There were 2 big groups of people eating in the main restaurant area and being very noisy but the waitress was happy to move us to the Bar area. Rather less intrusive! Had problems catching a server's eye in order to order wine, problem solved... More

I love this Restaurant and go approximately four to five times a year. It is relatively local and in my opinion the best restaurant in Athlone by a mile. It is firstly in a great location next to the Castle and some great bars. The staff are always really lovely and never bother you and you also never feel in... More

We'd gotten off the ferry only 2 hours previously before pulling into Athlone for a pit stop on route to our cottage. As we parked, we saw a board across the road with the words 'Coffee and Chill' written on which got a cheer from us as that was exactly what we needed! We've just pit stopped on the way... More

I brought two friends yesterday for a late lunch. It had come recommended and I understood that it was mindful of special dietary needs, in this case gluten free. The menu was totally void of any dietary information, which is standard now even in your local chippie! Bottles of tap water on what looked like re-cycled green wine bottles were... More
