I called in recently, after lunch hour, for a soup and sambo (Quick lunch). The staff could not have been friendlier, the food arrived quickly and was great. The staff were also helping other visitors with advice on what to do and see in Howth and all with a smile. Magnificent!! If you like a great location, a friendly smile... More

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday party at Abbey Tavern. From the moment we arrived for our celebrations, we were met by Nessa, who gave us not only a warm welcome, but who looked after us for the evening. The friendly yet professional service she offered to our party was second to none. On arrival we were offered drinks and... More

We had a fun evening and great dinner at the Abbey Tavern. They had a local group playing Irish music. Lots of fun, good food, and great beer.

This is one of the nicest place in Howth if you are looking for pub seafood receipt, probably one of the best Fish 'n' Chips / Chowder and fisherman pie that you can find it's on the way back if you went to the lighthouse

As the food was served with a slight delay, we were kindly offered free drinks. Both the Salmon and the Burger were delicious, as was the amazing chocolate cheesecake. We also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of The... More
