I went here at 4pm on valentines day as I couldn't do later on. I've been here numerous times and always found it excellent but this visit turned me off. They had the specials of the day on a board and they looked good. I chose from the earl bird menu instead. I got a seafood chowder as a starter... More

It came to pass that I have been to the Deep twice in the last few weeks. In other words, the first visit was so good that it led on to a return with a different group. The early bird menu is a good one with a good range of starters and main courses, and it is reasonably priced. The... More

110% the best seafood restaurant in Dublin! The seafood paella is honestly a taste of heaven..another 10 stars to the staff who are genuinely delighted to have you there and are so helpful if you can't choose from all the amazing dishes! Always recommending to family & friends and they couldn't agree more. Already planning my next visit :)

Ate here on Saturday, the excellent value early bird, and all of the party thoroughly enjoyed it! Best squid, not a bit rubbery and the brie was very good (maybe a bit hotter wld have been nice). The open fish pie a novel and very tasty dish and top notch hake and chips. Wine reasonable and lovely. Deserts were fine,... More

Having attempted to get a table at a few locations in Howth on a Bank Holiday Monday we strolled into Deep without much hope. They couldn't have been more welcoming. We got a couple of Seafood Platters for four people and there was plenty of food to go around. Everything was quite delicious. My only issue was a minor one,... More

Took the train from Dublin to Howth for the day. Deep was perfect for lunch. We made a reservation when we first got there and then spent a few hours walking around and seeing the town. Glad we made a reservation - they were busy and had to turn people away. Good seafood and friendly staff.

We decided to get the bus over from Dublin, had a walk down from the summit, chose the Deep as didn't want anything too heavy - the seafood platters were just the ticket. Calamari, fish gouging, crab cake and smoked salmon on brown bread for 2 €19.95 great value and delicious. Great service lovely warm atmosphere highly recommend .

We have been several times to Deep. It is always excellent. The food, fish dishes, are really well prepared and tasty, without fail, especially the platters. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The ambience is really pleasant. Our favourite Sunday lunch out.

We were to early to check in to our hotel, So we drove to Howth looking for a café for breakfast. The Deep is a bit more than a café, but had a sign outside offering breakfast, so in we went. A lovely breakfast (full Irish) served by 2 Irish ladies with charm and a very warm welcome. The breakfast... More

One of our favourite restaurants... We were miles away from Howth and decided we'd have bite to eat and looked at each other and both suggested the same place... Lovely little place, step in to a warm place and a warm welcome as some how they remember previous visitors... Sat down by the fire, comfortable seating and quiet enough for... More

They've got a couple of rave reviews from newspapers displayed in their restaurant, but unfortunately I didn't note which papers they were. Their seafood was incredibly fresh, perhaps bought right off of the docks. We had incredible fried oysters and a hearty seafood chowder as appetizers, then an earlybird seafood special for two for dinner which included fishcakes, crawfish, mussels, Dublin Bay Prawns, squid, smoked salmon, and a small salad. Beautifully plated, amazingly delicious. I hope you're able to get more info because this place is not to be missed!
