I had a steak sandwich here and it was lovely. While this place may not be a five-star hotel (it's a real 'keep it country' spot), it was really friendly and very comfortable. Well worth stopping here and giving this place a chance.

I have been a regular here & bar ( no pun ) a couple of occasions when the food dipped a little below the high standards set by themselves, I have always found it to be a friendly efficient place with great quality food. No problem in recommending it.

Great home cooking at very reasonable costs. This place serves bar food at its best.Had a two course meal here with my wife and could not have enjoyed the food any more than eating in a quality hotel. The prices at this place for the quality and amount of food served is excellent.

Top class family run public house serving great lunches, bar food and evening meals in a clean friendly environment. Had the best lunch I have had in years there for less than a €10. Serious value for money.

I'm at the end of a ten day holiday in Ireland. I've ate out for every meal during my visit and The Village Inn Kilchreest is by far the best food I've had. The dishes are homemade and served in large portions. The food is so good I ate here twice in one day. I recommend the Guinness stew with... More
