We had a great night in this pub which is different from most pubs in that it has a shop in the front Staff are friendly and the service is excellent

Tiny lovely authentic pub. If you like close quarters, chatting with new people and choosing from about 15 different tap brews, this is the place. Mary was a wonderful, friendly host. We walked around the town and saw a sign down an alley, adventurous girlfriends that we are, we walked in the back. Wow, will never forget it. Go there...you'll... More

If you want a real, no nonsense pub, this is the one for you. Very traditional, dark, intimate and a real experience. I love bringing visitors here as it is exactly what you'd want in an Irish pub. There is a beer garden in the back and a shop at the front. Well worth a visit

We visited this bar a few years ago on the occasion of the 70th birthday of the fridge. It was like stepping back in time so on this visit we decided to make another call. It hadn't altered at all and is just as you would expect to find a bar in Ireland many years ago. The same family have... More

this pub had everything, all different sections for young and old, from the front where was deadly craic with a sing song to the old kitchen and back out to thee huge smoke garden which leads into another section of the pub where there was 2 man band playing and all this at 10 o clock

We had a beer here after dinner in The Fish Kitchen. There was such a great diversity of different characters and nationalities, it created a great buzz. Good Guinness and friendly service

The bar staff are slow and rude beyond what I can say here. That's because I had gone there twice after reading about the reviews but honestly its the worst bar I have ever been to in my whole life, no kidding! Here's why: from the front entry the place smells bad, you have about 4 small table and chairs... More

Met up with a bunch of German friends here a few days ago, and got chatting with the owners & barstaff & a few friendly locals. Really nice place to relax and have a few sociable pints. Good selection of craft beers too. (MountainMan is good)
