Our party of 10 returned here a couple times. We had so much fun. Some in the group attempted the Irish dancing with the local music makers. The burgers were very good. They invited a few in the group to come behind the bar so they could teach us the proper way to pour a Guinness. You can imagine the... More

Called here with my wife in September - sorry I am getting round to writing this now! We did not have a reservation and the restaurant was "bouncing" but staff very quickly got us a table and got us settled. My first pint didn't arrive and I did have to ask twice for it but that apart there were no... More

Dropped in on a very busy Sunday evening. A lot of tourists and very popular for food. Staff are good and customer service is fine. I'm a pint of Guinness man and the pint was fine. Dropped in the following evening around 5ish, now off peak, nice mix of locals and visitors comfortable and will be back

This was our third trip to (through) Adare; and ever since our first stop at this pub, we just had to go back. Warm and inviting--and the food is fabulous. I would fly over for the Irish stew !!!!!

We ate here after walking around to see the sights around Adare. We walked in and were immediately greeted. My wife had Onion Soup with brown bread. I had the Bacon and Brie Panini. Both were fantastic. We even tried to replicate the sandwich when we got back home. The tomato relish was hard to find. Somehow, we couldn't get... More

We ate once here. The food was recommended to us and quite rightly. There is a good atmosphere in the bar and the food is good pub grub.

We stayed in Adare for two nights. The owner of the B & B recommended Pat Collins for dinner. We had a Guinness and the beef stew. Service was quick and friendly. Food was served hot. It was a large portion and was very good. We chatted with other patrons and our server in a very warmly decorated dining area.... More

Looked everywhere for seafood chowder and landed in Adare. I saw that Pat Collins' had commendable reviews. To my surprise many of the local restaurants did not have chowder. Well worth my time stopping, large serving with a delicious side of brown bread. Staff were friendly, engaging and helpful. If I wasn't driving I would have stayed for a few... More

Met the owner as well as all the family who works at the bar. The staff was terrific and friendly and the food was awesome. Irish stew and stir fry were excellent. Also enjoyed the locals who frequent the bar. We went there 3 times in just a 6 day span.If you want to enjoy the local flair this was... More
