Friends and us were walking around Kinsale when we all got hungry. As we were walking we came upon Poet's Corner. There are books if you decide you want to read. People come there and exchange books. Place is very small, four tables and some...More

We stopped into the Poet's Corner for lunch while in Kinsale. It was a great place for s quick soup and sandwich lunch that I'm sure is a local favorite. Wonderful food! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area for the day.

It was 3 in the afternoon, and we were hungry after hiking to the fort. We viewed the menu and decided on the seafood chowder, which seems to be a Kerry County specialty. It was creamy, loaded with fish, and served with brown bread--delicious!

This place was really charming. The food was so perfect on a rainy afternoon- a "toasty" sandwich and curry vegetable soup- DELICIOUS. Also, portions are very generous. The service was exceptionally good as well-really would give them 6 stars if I could-!

A friend and I enjoyed lunch of mushroom soup with mustard seeds. It was fantastic. Instead of the usual brown bread, it was served with a thin bread that was warm and delicious. Their menu is not extensive but food is excellent.

Excellent and well-priced food and speciality coffees all with friendly service in a cosy setting. Presentation of food and coffee alike was a work of art in itself!
