Can't beat the post house for good home cooking. The Sea food chowder is to die for. Stuffed potato skins are great too and well presented. Pancakes are not too sweet with fresh fruit😋 Very clean and comfortable. Nice atmosphere, management and staff are very pleasant and helpful. We'll definitely be back😃

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the atmosphere and banter. I had the Goat's cheese tart - lovely, my brother - the chowder which he raved about and my sister the chicken supreme. Definitely would recommend stopping by, I know I will as I have my sights set on the chowder.

Great little cafe, ideal for a break in town. Good coffee and the BEST scones in the west! And if it's not raining (a rare one for the west of |Ireland) you can sit outside and people watch.

Apart from the freshly made food, the ample menu, and the prompt service, always with a smile, there is more to this small cafe that meets the eye. The proprietors also run a catering service which, although I/we have not availed of it yet, we were not surprised to have heard great reports about it. The Cafe itself is like... More

So recently i visited this cafe, and to be honest i wouldnt come back, i ordered the chicken caeser wrap which is advertised as chicken, bacon, lettuce, onion and parmesan cheese, there was hardly any meat, just loads of lettuce, and no cheese, and the caeser sauce had an awful taste of vinegar that actually ruined our entire wrap. My friend... More

This place looked good , so we tried it out . I had chicken Kiev others had fish cakes . The chicken was a second choice as they had run out of my first choice meal, the chicken was all dried up an the creamed potatoes and turnips that came with it were all lumpy and dried up like it... More

Great menu, good coffee and a nice friendly atmosphere. All food is freshly prepared and cooked. Only downside is that they don't accept credit cards but they said drop the money in again but I felt a bit embarrassed so I had to go to the cashpoint.

Popped in here for lunch after reading the reviews. Fresh salad, sandwiches and baked goods. I had a lovely salad, hubby had BLT. All very good. Baked goods looked fantastic and homemade, but couldn't try any this day. Will definitely go back. Hear the seafood chowder is great!
