Few of us went for breakfast and were very satisfied. We ordered a range of things between frys, sandwiches and scrambled eggs and toast. We received our breakfasts at different times but for good reason-they explained that the bacon was too crispy with the scrambled eggs so were cooking a fresh lot! They gave us extra toast while we waited... More

I stayed here for a fourth time. As always I was greeted warmly and kindly and breakfast remains the best I have tasted in Ireland. It is lovely to be greeted as an old friend, and I look forward to returning before too long. It is worth noting that last week the Loft was short-listed (out of 84) in the... More

We dropped in here on the BH Monday and it was extremely quiet - which we were told is the norm on this weekend. Lovely fire and just a cosy atmosphere with a very nice barman who even provided us a taxi number. Will definitely come back when it's busier but if you fancy a quiet chat in a nice... More

Soup sandwich wraps paninis ect this place will not be beaten. Food excellent. Quick service. Breakfast also best in town. Not your usual plate of grease. Food finishes at around 3 I think.

The food in this establishment is consistently good. The environment and ambience is extremely relaxed and comfortabl. The open fire adds real charm to the location. The chowder is to die for, as are all the other options on the menu. The food here is very reasonably priced for such a great standard.

Cosy and reasonable. A great select of panini's, wraps etc and some delicious soups. It can be a bit delayed on busy days so before I sit I generally ask what the waiting time is for food.

You can not pass the Loft without dropping in - its the first stop in Ballina, where all the urban and rural communities meet - for the last 40 years or more and plan their night out (whether staying put, or visiting restaraunts, galleries, even museums, river walks, bars & night clubs from here) and back for a nightcap and...
