Wonderful low key atmosphere in a small Irish pub/restaurant. Don't know how else to describe it. My wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Started off with some Middleton Irish whisky and then we both ordered the carmalized salmon.

The food was good, we chose from the set menu. However, there was some issues with service that are small but added together meant that the restaurant did not live up to the expectations we had for it. For example, - we were half way...More

I'll give credit where it is due - our food was pretty tasty, we couldn't really fault anything in that regard. BUT the dining experience encompasses more than the quality of the food and our experience at the Half Door was ruined by the Manager's...More

An enticing menu loaded with fresh fish and lamb did not disappoint. Plus, though the restaurant was very busy and we did not have a reservation, the host found us a nice table. In busier seasons, make sure to reserve in advance.

Great quality, fresh fish and see food. Wine per glass selection could be better. Friendly service. We recommend the catch of the day

My husband and I had dinner here at the suggestion of a local. What they failed to tell us what how impersonal and unwelcoming this place is. The food was quite good and the menu had an array of different offering that looked amazing. However,...More

Went to Dingle with a group of friends this past weekend and decided to eat at the Half Door on Friday night. We all thought the food was very average and overpriced.

Disappointed; there are a lot of better places in dingle, food only average, expected more for the high prices.

I don't own the business. The menu is predominantly fish and meat but when asked in the past they have served up a couple of nice veggie dishes.
