This place had excellent seafood chowder and haddock smokies! The service was excellent, too. We went early, around 5:30, so that might be a good time to go. Nice quiet atmosphere that played some love songs for music, which you don't hear much anymore. It...More

My partner and I were visiting Dingle for our first extended stay and a local couple recommended Half Door. The decor is lovely and the restaurant was cozy, particularly on a cold May Day. Each of us had the soup of the day, potato leek,...More

After visiting Dingle two times in the past six months, this restaurant quickly became one of our favorites! This family operated business has it all! Great food choices, great presentation and great service!

Lovely fish, very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. My fish was excellent, lobster was superb. We only had one dessert between us and that was beautifully presented.

Seems to be trying to be more than they are. It could be a great rustic style restaurant but they are trying to be fine dining. The food is quality and the service was good, but the experience just misses the mark.

Just the perfect relaxing atmosphere we were looking for, everything was clean and fresh looking. The Confit of Duck was superb. Diverse menu. Well run family business.

I don't own the business. The menu is predominantly fish and meat but when asked in the past they have served up a couple of nice veggie dishes.
