The service is efficient and friendly. Plates are quite large. The crab claws were delicious! Warm and cosy with a great atmosphere. If you go in the daylight there’s a good view of the sea. Try the Dingle gin with Elderflower tonic. It comes with...More

I visit Spillane's regularly during holidays and it has been invariantly excellent, food wise and service wise. So no less than a four-star, despite a recent a experience which I hope you can fix. I had the shepherd's pie and it was incredibly bland. No...More

Guinness and beer is very good and the menu is surprisingly comprehensive for a bar type restaurant. We loved the crab claws and the other seafood choices looked really good. They do a seafood platter, when it's on you have to try it. Had a...More

Spillane's has been one of my favourites for quite some time. It is one of the few places where you can get crab claws on the Maharees penninsula. This time around I had the local crab class for starters followed by the hake accompanied by...More

Food is ok, service is very bad. Staff made us feel very unwelcome, seemed to want the table back asap and were very rude about it when we had just started our meal. Overpriced and don't appreciate or even want custom.More

This is a fine pub, good pint of Guinness and a good menu with good service, pretty much in the heart of the Maharees. Stunning views all round and an ideal place to stop and have a bite to eat and a drink. If there's...More

Spillane's Bar is a good pub. We had an enjoyable evening that we remembered more for the beer on tap and the sunset views than the food. A lot of the menu is deep fried and overall I would consider the meal average and a...More

A bar/restaurant off the main road along the Maharees. Nice food and staff. Good atmosphere. Good for GAA matches and across from the beach.
