We enjoyed a really enjoyable evening pub meal in a traditional friendly village pub. The homemade pie and burgers were gorgeous. Great real ale, friendly staff and Dog friendly.

We booked lunches for our party as requested but were then informed at short notice that the menu had changed! When we arrived we had a rude welcome.

We stopped here for lunch as part of our circular walk from Monsal Head through the dales. We received a warm and friendly welcome from staff and other customers, had a good lunch before trudging back to Monsal Head. A great spot and lovely village....More
