Great afternoon in the Manners, a fair few Guiness' & watching the six nations with some of the regulars. Many thanks for the staff squeezing us in for dinner. Honestly, best burger in town - so good.

Lovely Italian food, quite cosy but small - not so many options for tables. Loved the salted caramel cookie dessert! Sublime.

After reading the reviews for The Manners I chose to take Mum for lunch, along with my partner. We chose the cod & chips and mum had scampi. It was all delicious and the portion sizes were perfect for us - we don't like being...More

Visited with my husband on a busy Saturday for dinner. We started with meat platter and homemade BBQ ribs... both lovely. I then had bangers and mash and my husband had lamb... again both beautifully cooked. We finished with lovely desserts. All food was of...More

We went here last night for early tea. Monday night is Pie and Pint night for £12 which is good value but only a choice of 2 pies: Cottage Pie or Chicken and Mushroom. We opted for the chicken. It was OK but nothing to...More

We chose The Manners as a last minute weekend break, just on the edge of Bakewell. Fantastic place, I highly recommend it. Our room was modern yet still traditional, very comfortable bed and dark quiet room. Breakfast was very nice, memorable with oatcake and fried...More

Went with friends for a birthday celebration. The food is just as good as the reviews suggest. The belly pork is a huge and deeply satisfying main. The hot cookie pudding to die for. Very good service. The pub is very convivial and my friends...More

Hi, From what we saw when we were there, they don't mind you bringing dogs in. Not sure about the B&B side of it, but no a problem in the bar and the outside area.
