Friendly staff always welcoming. Mum and I have adopted the manners as our local for Saturday lunch. Eating our way through the menu. So far everything we have eaten has been first class. Gets very busy as it’s reputation has spread. Highly recommend.

Popped in for a drink to see what all the rave reviews were about. Just a normal pub it looked like. A few likely lads playing cribbage I think but generally quiet. Booked a table for later. Came back at 7 and the place is...More

Place is a bit run down but popular. You should certainly book on a specials night. We liked half the dishes but left the rest. Standard dishes seemed to mean better: excellent pie, chips and kebab. None of our starters were up to much. Good...More
