Service very good, and staff attitude excellent. Visited for lunch and from a predictive menu chose curry of the day. This was hot and good, served with the standard accessories. As with previous visits - the level of service, and the dependable standard of food...More

I was slightly disappointed in my luncheon visit . The menu was limited and what I chose was probably why I was not very impressed as the food seemed tired on delivery . The surroundings of the eating area was pleasant and comfortable but I...More

The Upstairs café is OK but when we visited for a coffee we were disappointed to find the coffee was tepid so it didn't "warm us" on a cold day

Had lunch here on Saturday I had broccoli bake which was piping hot and very cheesy. Also had homity pie which interestingly was not very cheesy. Nice homely feeling in this cafe.

This is our cafe of choice in Bakewell. Meals are reasonably priced, freshly prepared and arrive quickly. Very child friendly, too, and nice quirky bits to buy in the shop area.

We made a few visits this weekend, for breakfasts and tea. Consistently good. On one visit we had the full breakfast. There wasn't a spot of grease or oil on the plate, which is quite a feat for fried food. The cakes are good too...More

Having just arrived in Bakewell, we popped in for breakfast. My husband had the full English and I had beans on toast. Everything was freshly cooked and perfect. My husband said it was the best full English he’d ever had. I would definitely recommend a...More

Popped in for lunch after being recommended. Had beef cheese/onion ciabatta. Very nice. Homemade coleslaw was excellent. I've worked locally for years and this was my first visit. It won't be my last. All the food looked great.

We were a family group of 4 plus a dog and were made to feel very welcome. Food was delicious, we didn’t wait long. All staff were cheerful and I would not hesitate to recommend others to visit.
