The Lime Lounge Coffee House is a restaurant situated on the corner by Bridge Street. And is a good place to meet up with friends or locals. The food is wonderful to eat and sometimes a bit too filling.

Stopped in for breakfast on my way through Bakewell. Had the full breakfast which was mediocre. Bacon was good but sausages were budget and toast was overdone and cold. Scrambled eggs looked a bit like they'd been sat around a while. Still, all this is probably about right for the £6.25 price tag. The most annoying thing for me was... More

The food and service has always been excellent. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere and not too pricey.

Called in for breakfast and got a great plate of food for a reasonable price. Best bacon I have had in a cafe for a while. Nice staff and nice surroundings. Not able to pay by card in the day and presume it was a temporary problem but take cash just in case.

We had been here several years ago for lunch. This time we were wanting breakfast. The menu was nice and we both enjoyed our selection. The prices were moderate and the selection was good. The restaurant has a choice of tables or comfortable couches. Children are welcome and they had toys available.

Disappointed. Baked potato and panini were nice but staff couldn't tell me what the other vegetarian options contained, no allergy or ingredients information. As a result our options were limited. Having had a 10 minute conversation about how we don't eat egg they then produced our plates of food with coleslaw and potato salad, which we sent back.

Called in here in need of sustenance and was pleasantly surprised! There can be a wait for a table so that's highlights to us it's worth a wait. We had special toasties, gluten free with bacon, bree & onion relish! Lovely and very nicely washed down with a cup of tea and a latte. It was popular with cyclists as... More

Stopped on for lunch yesterday while visiting bakewell. Saw someone having the turkey special so we tried it as well. Most surprised with the bagget as it came with a jug a hot gravey, hot turkey and two surfing balls and three pigs in blankets as well as a great cranberry source. The whole thing was very tasty.

My husband and l and a friend visited Limes restaurant last Monday, as we have many times in the past, it was market day, and we were looking forward to a nice lunch, as we always previously had enjoyed, usually it was a wait for tables , but l was surprised to have a choice, as it was half empty,...
