An old station tastefully covered. Very busy, lots of tables and even more people. Think of your old school hall at dinner time full to the brim. People wandering around, getting in each other’s way, etc. But it was Sunday half term so to be...More

This is a really lovely place to stop while walking the Monsal Trail. We stopped in on the way to Bakewell. We had 2 dogs with us, so had to sit outside, but they had provided large sofas to sit on, with fluffy cushions, out...More

Stopped off here to fuel ourselves up before walking. Good location just off the road. Food was good. I had the Hassop Station breakfast. Sausages are excellent. Priced about right.

Overpriced, treated like a number. You have to queue to order as if in a school canteen. Staff very young and quite abrupt.

We spent he day on the Monsal Trail with cycles from Hassop Station. The trail is excellent. The bikes were reasonable & in good condition but the customer service was haphazard. Costs are steep. We had to ask for helmets, weren't given locks [which meant...More

Decided to have a soup lunch before our hike. Service was poor and the broccoli soup was little better then brown salty water. We had to be in the outside bit because of having the dog but there was no offer to put the heaters...More
