We almost did not eat at this pub because of the 3 star rating on trip advisor but after a 2.5 hour walk were in need of refuelling! And so glad we decided to stop. The pub is in a fantastic setting and the grounds...More

Visited Friday 4/8. and being already familiar with the Inn at Freshford and the Old Crown Kelston we had high expectations. As we have come to expect we had a great welcome from the uber friendly team (would love to know how they recruit and...More

Stopped for a drink on a lovely day. Beautiful river and canal side location with outside dining in a peaceful garden next to the river.

Lunch delivered by a moustached hipster who sang as he poured the water. Nice menu and lovely pub inside. Traditional and in winter has an open fire. The typical English pub! V nice decor...... Would go again!
