Avoid the service centres on the A303 and do yourself a huge favour by popping in here for lunch. A minute off the main road and you're in a different world. Quaint village with this pub, to enjoy a meal and a drink. Cosy pub with roaring fire. Excellent food, and warm friendly hospitality.

Staff went out of their way to help, excellent service and very attentive. The food was fresh and delicious and there was plenty of it. Great choice of beers too. Looking forward to sampling more... I was one of a party of six, pre-booked for lunch. Welcomed by staff members and served with drinks while we waited for the party to arrive. The menu was quite comprehensive and with five 'specials' on the board. I opted for ham, eggs and chips from the main menu, and must say it was one of the best I... More

Had fish, chips and peas which was delicious and my son had a meat feast pizza which was loaded with a variety of meat. The toilets were... More
