We visited the Romna last pm as two couples and were warmly welcomed by the staff. The food was quick to arrive and was beautifully prepared and of excellent quality. As a non licenced place its easy to take what you want from home keeping the costs down. Our meals with sides and soft drinks came to £48.00 ! Absolutely... More

I've known of the Romna for years but for some reason never quite fancied it. Recommended by friends in the week so I decided to try it tonight. Blown away. Best curry had in years. Reasonable prices but have to take your own booze. Enough said.

I've used Romna on and off for around 15 years. I used to drive out from Sparkhill to come to this restaurant before I was married. Now I live about 15 minutes away. Whenever I come into Alcester, the ideal night for me a few pints in the Turks Head and follow it up with a visit here. As far... More

Came here with our Tastecard which they accepted without issue. The restaurant is next to the entrance to Waitrose (don't follow your sat nav). We were seated quickly and the food quickly delivered. We didn't realise it beforehand, but they don't serve alcohol here. Other diners brought wine with them. We ordered some coke instead and it came from 2... More

We eat here quite often. Yes, sometimes it is very crowded and a bit noisy and sometimes there is a bit of a wait for service but the staff are friendly and helpful and in our opinion the food is always good.

The key point of the Romna is that you can bring your own booze. The food is very good, although When I asked for Jalfrezi, I got Balti. In fairness, I was offered some Jalfrezi sauce, but I couldn't see the point, so declined. The service was good and quick, although on a Sunday it wasn't busy.
