Very disappointed to see such a great restaurant go so down hill , I assume new chefs ?? And new management?? This restaurant used to be our favourite place to go , we travel 45 mins to get there . To be fair our steak...was lovely thank goodness , but the bri and fried squid tasted awful! Was like chewing rubber bands :/ Chips wer hard and veg used to come in a nice butter but just very plain and dry now .Stick toffy pudding was one big dry loaf, a staff member must have saw and came over to very nicely offer some sauce with it . No soap in the lady’s bathroom at all either . Staff where nice just such a massive shame on the food , wouldn’t be coming back after that unfortunatelyMore

Called in on way through to Banbridge for a lunch time meal on the Bank Holiday Monday at the end of August 2021. Have been before and always had a decent meal however this time although it was a lunch time meal it was not...good. Chicken goujons were burnt to within an inch of being incinerated and the accompanying chips with them and the fish were like scrapings left at the end of the night in a chippy. The fish was dry and again over cooked. Sorry to be down on a small business but it was not good.More

We booked a table for 6.15pm on a Friday evening one day in advance. We don't go out much so this should have been a treat. After arriving we were abruptly told to sit in a waiting area and left there for almost 30 mins....Several other customers arrived and were given tables before us. One hour later we still had not been served our food. The lady who was in charge was quite rude to the staff several times which we could not help but over hear. For someone 'front of house' she needs serious customer service lessons. The atmosphere was awkward from start to finish. The food was nice when it eventually arrived. As we were waiting for a hour we had no time for desserts or coffee, but to be honest due to the atmosphere we were happy to leave. No apology for the delay. Very dissapointing experience.More

Called for lunch and left disappointed. Hard to believe the drop in standards from theold management. The first thing I disliked was the poor attention to Covid policies. The lady in charge was running around taking details for track and trace, fair enough but we...continually witnessed the same lady and her staff with their masks below the nose and mouth. Even when waiting on the table. We had to ask 3 times for a dirty glass to be changed. Especially off putting in these times. Main courses, chicken were just about ok but very dry. Certainly wouldn't be rushing to order again. The desserts actually took the biscuit. Both ordered meringue. Disgrace that these were sent out. They were both so hard that they couldn't be broken, no matter what we did. Sure fire trip to the dentist if we had tried to bite it. Very miserable offering of one portion of chocolate cake when we brought this to the lady's attentionMore

This is a very busy restaurant and the tables were well distanced and safe. The service was friendly and good. The choice on the menu was somewhat limited. The chicken dish that I ordered was good except for the fact that the pieces of chicken...were over cooked. As though they had been prepared well in advance.More

Dropped in last minute with a business associate for a quick bite to eat. Service was excellent and the curry was amazing. It always is, every time I’ve visited. The garlic bread is made freshly by the new chef and is an absolute MUST….. I’ve...NEVER had garlic bread like this!! Michelle and her staff are very attentive … love it… I feel like im back home. Thank youMore

I went to the restaurant as a surprise for my fiance and couldn't have picked a better place. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with lovely friendly staff who showed us to our table. The food was amazing, not too much and...perfectly cooked. They have a French chef and it showed, everything freshly cooked and perfectly presented. Would we come again? Of course.More
