Had I not have been in the company of a special guest eating there for the first time I would have left before we eat. Ordered a Vodka/Martini Cocktail - could not make that, as an alternative I ordered a Campari & Soda with a slice of Orange but was given Campari and Orange. Food was acceptable but certainly not... I brought my mum to Auberge du Lac to celebrate Mother's Day today and we were amazed by not only the excellent quality of food but the professionalism of all the staff we came into contact with! Upon arriving we had a very warm welcome from Guillaume who offered to take our coats and show us onto the terrace for... More

Having followed Chef Matthew Edmonds' career for some time, we were keen to try his new restaurant! We were not disappointed. Fantastic food, perfectly prepared and presented. On arrival we were shown to a comfortable lounge for pre dinner drinks and to make our choices of meal and wine. Beautifully presented canapes were served as we chose from the A... More

As it happens not all that busy but very good service and whilst I ate from the table d'hote menu my companions ate from the A La Carte. We were all delighted with our choices and the sorbets etc. which appeared unbidden between courses and especially the delightful... More

Been with my husband for lunch in recently, it was the first day that they have reopened. The food was average, we sent back the wine as it was not tasty. There was no one to recommend the wines, and the descriptions on the wine list was very poor. We and other guests next to us had an issue with... More

We visited this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion and had a lovely meal and great service. Staff were very attentive, food delicious and we got little extras too such as palette cleansers and homemade butter. Would recommend this restaurant
