Used to visit here regularly but I think the recipe for the fries has changed, they are now no better than the 'golden arches' chips .

Really enjoyed another meal here, service was good, the burger was fantastic as were the chicken wings. Everyone enjoyed our visit. Only 4 stars as it is still not quite as good as the St Ives branch of Hubbox, I know it’s the same food...More

I ate at the hub box this Friday lunchtime with my husband. The burgers and chips were a generous portion and delicious, the sides were equally delicious and the staff were extremely friendly. Thank you very much, will definitely return again

Hamazing hamburger. Lovely place. My partner and I lived in Truro for 9 months and sometimes we went to Hubbox. When we will come back in Cornwall, we will certainly eat a big Hubbox hamburger. We miss Cornwall, we miss Truro and we miss Hubbox....More

We turned up to Truro Hubbox and didn’t quite know what to expect. We got sat upstairs pretty quickly but found the lighting really dim almost dark. Downstairs seemed much brighter. I can appreciate a ambiance lighting setup but not when I want to see...More

Came in to Hubbox on a Thursday when they had a few problems with their log fire making a lot of smoke, the staff were very apologetic and even took 50% off our bill! Food was lovely and staff were great.. credit to the staff...More

Rocked up here without booking between Christmas and new year and the 6 of us were happily accommodated. Nice food from a slightly limited menu made even more limilted by a screw up in their ordering that put several items off the menu. Timely service,...More

We visited the hubbox this evening and didn't need to wait for a table although it was quite busy. The food was lovely especially the sweet potato fries and the barbecue beans. A really nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again.

Our original Truro restaurant was specially converted from a 30 foot shipping container into a fully modern mini-restaurant with seating for 20 inside. The feedback and response from our customers was so great we had to find a bigger more permanent location. We have now relocated to the former chape. Head chef Alex Towill has overseen the menu which includes the Hubbox's popular range of handmade burgers, hot dogs made from 98% free range pork, pulled pork sandwiches and the Hub Big Mack Daddy - crispy Cornish mackerel with shredded beetroot and horseradish mayo. Our menu uses the very best Cornish ingredients in a relaxed quality way and has been winning rave reviews in St Ives, Truro and Exeter. We have now extended the Hubbox menu with a range of BBQ specials slow smoked over hickory wood chips and in Truro we also have a fully stocked bar with an ever changing beer wall of great craft beers and a selection of funky cocktails.
