Last minute decision to call en-route to weekend cottage. Location, facilities, views and food all a cut above. Fish choice and quality confirms benefit of being next to the sea. Oh for more like this throughout Wales.

We stumbled across this lovely pub whilst camping in the area. Had a very tasty lunch - all freshly home cooked. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and we would definitely return if and when back in area. Highly recommended.

We drove to this restaurant for a birthday meal & can say without doubt that it was superb. The choice of fish dishes were explained in detail by the owner & we were not disappointed. The fish is all cooked in a beautifully healthy way & is so flavoursome. It was a cold autumn evening & the restaurant was quite... More

I had soup and husband had fish. Soup was o.k but a bit tasteless. Fish was nice and fresh. Wasn't keen on the way the chips were cooked. All in all, quite nice lunch but veryover priced for an ordinary pub meal.

My husband and I have visited this lovely coastal location pub now twice and both times were absolutely perfect. The pub itself is set in an ideal coastal location and we tried the excellent fresh fish and chips the first time and the gorgeous stout and ale pie the second. Both were faultless and the food is definitely top notch... More

We stumbled upon this quite by chance, but we are SO glad we did! Looking for somewhere to eat, we were enticed in to this pub by the sign outside about fresh fish. I'm not a fish lover in truth but do like a good portion of fish and chips when at the seaside. I'm not sure Dale counts as... More

Visited The Griffin Inn pub for lunch again yesterday and had another excellent meal. The fish was gorgeous and well presented. Location is wonderful and we will definitely return when next in the area.

A lovely pub right down by the water in a very picturesque setting. The food was lovely and service first class with detailed explainations of the wonderful fish dishes. Only problem is, The Griffin can't quite decide whether it's a high end fish restaurant or a pub. So watch what you order or the bill could be a very nasty... More

We are staying nearby and visited this pub for an evening meal. We had not realised how popular it is, and it was fully booked but they managed to squeeze us in, and thank goodness they did! The children had burgers and fish and chips, and we had the fish specials. All were outstanding - service was very good and... More
