Great place to meet friends for a drink & great sea food...everything is so fresh from the sea here i thought i might start growing gills, but alas it was only dream...Pearl Lagoon is an Amazing place off the beaten path, also take the time to sea the wonderful small island that dot the ocean around Pearl Lagoon.

My favorite place to stay in Pearl Lagoon was the cabina over the water at Queen Lobster. I'd love to go back and stay a month! To watch the moon rise over the water and feel the cool breeze was lovely. It was fun to watch the fisherman paddle by in their dugout canoes. We ate many delicious meals at... More

Queen Lobster is probably the best place to eat in the area. The owners Pedro and Nuria are very friendly. Ask for daily activities/tours they organize. Spaghetti with shrimps, run down, etc.. all delicious.

Have eaten at the restaurant several times and really like the atmosphere, as it is perched over the Lagoon and built using traditional construction techniques. The seafood is also awesome!

Queen Lobster has a great location on the edge of the Lagoon, perfect for catching a breeze, watching the fishermen haul their nets from traditional dories and the commercial panagas speeding off to the other communities. The menu is fairly extensive for Pearl Lagoon. My favourite is the chicken salad, mainly because to find any kind of salad other than... More

Nice place, cool atmosphere but the most expensive lobster ceviche for 225 Cordobas in Nicaragua. The rooms are probably good value.

This is one of the few waterfront eating places in Pearl Lagoon. We enjoyed them all and since we don't like to go to the same place every time, we made the rounds. We made arrangements here for a fabulous excursion out to Crawl (aka Clark) Cay in the Pearl Cays where Pedro made lunch: a "Caribbean Rundown" which is... More

Make sure you stop in for a meal at the Queen Lobster! Dinners are wonderful-I ate the Garlic Shrimp two nights in a row. Try a "white soda" with Flor de Cana. We ate breakfast there, but I believe you have to let them know the evening before. The coconut bread toast was yummy with the traditional eggs, gallo pinto,... More
