A friend and I visited for lunch and we were extremely disappointed with our meals. The sourdough focaccia bread was absolutely stale and as hard as a rock and lacking in fillings. The knife was so blunt it couldn't even cut through the bread , even...if it was edible. The meals are very overpriced for the quality you get served up too.I did complain but nobody was interested and staff just smirked to each other, obviously the care factor was nil and worth a little giggle. That isn't the right attitude to have to your customers, especially in these times where everybody should be happy for your patronage and regular ones at that.We won't be returning.I don't know if there are new owners there but the quality has certainly gone downhill of late.More

I’m not the type to write reviews or even get angry at people but this has to be done. Don’t be fooled by the staff guaranteeing gluten free options. I rang the cafe before booking. ‘Yes lots of gluten free options available’ they said. I...then asked again upon arrival and a third time when the menu came out. I then reiterated twice when making my order stating I was a coeliac and I would get incredibly sick if my meal contained gluten. Again further guarantees the meal I was ordering was gluten free. My meal was placed in front of me and my friend then asked the wait staff is the meal definitely gluten free. ‘Yes’ said the wait staff. I took a few mouthfuls then there it was. Laden with gluten. I’ve now left my friends bday celebrations (dampening it all of course) and am at home sick as a dog. Six times we asked just to be sure. Furious!!!More

We have visited this delightful cafe on several occasions and have always enjoyed the relaxing ambience, the friendly service and tasty treats. It has an old fashion feel that is very pleasant as a contrast to the many trendy modern coffee shops on town. The...grounds are child friendly and there are inside and outside tables. It is best to book if you wish to ensure a space on the weekend. The adjoining gift shop and plant nursery specialising in pot plants are also great to browse and buy. The whole place is a lovely sanctuary from the bustle of the outside world.More

It certainly is a Secret Garden! Such a charming café, efficient staff and yummy food. We didn't have a booking and were prepared to wait for a free table, which didn't take long at all. Despite being busy we weren't rushed and it was a...very pleasant experience indeed. The cake cabinet is full of temptation - it's the best!More

A wonderful atmosphere, in or out on the verandah under the wysteria. Great coffee, and ooooh soooo wonderful cakes. One cant resist!!!! Lovely and tranquil looking out at the greenery. Will be returning when next up the north coast.

Fresh scones, homemade jam and good serving of cream. Tick - tick - tick This one of my favourite morning tea locations when I visit Coffs Harbour. Beautiful location, cafe decor, and good service.

Good coffee and service. Very popular and can get busy. Quaint garden settings. Just off highway heading north.

It was kind of decent but it didn't exactly blow my socks off. Menu was a bit limited and the staff seemed to be trying very hard.

We first visited for lunch after picking up another couple from the Coffs Harbour airport. It proved an excellent decision and we all really enjoyed our meals. A week later we returned for afternoon tea with another couple and had coffee (very good) and cake...( how do we choose? a lovely variety of choices.) There is a choice of indoor or outdoor seatng under a vine covered pergola and verandah in very restful surroundings with garden outlook. There is an excellent gift shop selling good quality items too. We will certainly return whenever we pass that way on our next trip.More
