Ive been to this pub a few times & what a great place, full of character, the food is fantastic, loads of traditional ales. Very welcoming staff, great roaring fires when its cold, a must visit place.

cannot fault anything...excellent setting with village green, river, medieval bridge....accommodation looks new, modern, clean and comfortable. Real ales are very good. Food was very good. Had the £119 DB&B deal, superb value. Breaky was freshly cooked. We are returning soon!!!!

The location is wonderful, very picturesque and it is a good looking pub. We stopped for a restorative sandwich and a drink and were all very happy with the quality and speed of service and the excellence of the beer and food.

You can order food anytime from 12.00 noon until 9.00.p.m and as well as a Main Menu there is also a Specials Menu where you can have a Variety of Dishes including Deli,s and Ploughmans if you wish.They also sell Guest Beers... More
