Good food, efficient waiters and the wine was nice. It was obviously a very popular venue as there were a lot of customers. The speciality of the house were Mussels in all shapes and sizes, sauces and they were very good.

We were staying nearby and thought we would give this chain a try. We found the food to be quite basic with portions quite small. No sauces offered, perhaps we should have asked. Expensive for what we were given.

We first visited in July 2014 and went back again this year. It was brilliant to note that the restaurant service and food were still as good as last year and we plan on coming back next time we are in the area. We had the Catalan mussels again and they were still awesome. Keep it up!

On a very wet Sunday whilst visiting Tours, we decided to have a different type of lunch and were definitely not disappointed. We opted for the special of the month, a Plancha with mussels in a chorizo, pepper, tomato & garlic sauce. This dish is served up in the cast iron pan it is cooked in. Although the menu states... Last night I ate here with a colleague. I had the Ardenaisse mussels and he had curried mussels, both were good - I would recommend the curry ones! There was also a good selection of beers and the staff were friendly and helpful (especially as I can only understand basic French and my colleague cannot understand any).

If you like mussels you'll like this. Appeared very popular with locals. Food good, wine good service good. Nothing much more to say.

I had the salmon, which was undercooked, rice was flavourless, but the green beans were alright. Th chèvre salad was nice but the cheese was really thinly sliced. Service was good, beer was excellent. Stick to what they do best moules and frites.

Spending 3 nights in an Hotel closed to the "Leon de Bruxelles" located in Chambray les Tours, we went 2 times in this restaurant despite the fact that there were other restaurants in this area. If you have the chance to go there, try the "Seafood Mussels a la Plancha", it is delicious. The staff was nice.

If you have 2h to spare to wait for the menu it'll be just another 3h until you're served. No risk to get overweight with the size of their salads. Chips may be a problem: there's more oil than potatoes on them. Bon appetit !
