STANWELL PARK BEACH KIOSK

We ordered the burger with chips and salad, calamari with chips and salad and a coffee. The burger beef patty was so processed it tasted like it was sausage mince and very processed. There were six pieces of calamari that looked like they had come...out of a frozen bag and had been dropped into a deep fryer. The coffee was like drinking a warm milk and was thrown out. For the prices they charge I expected much more, so disappointing.More

Solid place to have breakfast

Solid place to have breakfast or lunch. Great location. Potential to be so much more and so hopefully keeps improving as it is still new

Surprisingly tasty!

We stopped here after we had to detour and couldn’t get to Scarborough Hotel because of road closures due to a cycling event. We were a bit worried after reading some bad reviews but were pleasantly surprised. We had the works burger, chicken schnitzel baguette...and cheeseburger kids meal. The food was fresh and tasty, the chips were nice and crunchy.More

Excellent

We had an excellent experience. The staff were friendly and the meals arrived sooner than expected. Our group ordered burgers and fish & chips and all the meals were fresh and hot. The new building has a lovely atmosphere. With a playground nearby this is...a good place to take the family.More

The banana bread was terrible as was the milkshake. We could not finish either. Go to another cafe and get decent food.

GREAT SPOT FOR A BITE TO EAT

My whole family went here yesterday for a belated Mothers Day brunch. They let us book a table which they don't normally do so that was good. Food was nice, coffee was average. My family used to come to the old kiosk regularly but this...one, as new as it is, just does not have that same old feel that the old one did. Nice enough though and would definitely be back for a meal again sometime.More

Horrible!

Definitely will not take my family here again. Food was horrible, overpriced. As if I was eating cardboard. Should have read the reviews before coming! Not to mention the only “good” review was from their own worker whom served me! Appalling.

Waited 40 mins for 2 takeaway coffees and then the got the order wrong anyway

Don't bother. Staff did not seem to be trained and did not know what they were doing. Waited 40 mins for takeaway coffees and then they got the order wrong.

Terrible

We came here for a dinner of fish and chips and a play in the park. The food took forever to order and forever to get. We were then told after we had paid they had no tomato sauce... really? The price was over the...top, and the size of the serves did not reflect the price at all. I had a chicken schnitzel and chips, it was over cooked, and the chips did not cover the bottom of the take away container, we dished out $17 for that! I must of been lucky to get 12 chips. The most disappointing part... when i bit into the chicken... it was sour. $17 for an off chicken schnitzel. Got my hubby to check, he agreed, definitely not edible. Then my friend checked it out and was also disgusted by the “off” flavour. They were more than happy to return our money, but overall, this place was terrible.More
