Ok, you have read a hundred time of how good the coffee is at a place and then you order it and it’s not as good as the review was going on about. I know that feeling, it Hargrave Cafe is the real deal baby....I have been going here for the last 18 months and every time the coffee is spot on. When I take people out to coffee this is my cafe of choice. But wait there’s more. You have to try the grilled chicken burger, it’s the best I’ve had, (I’ve had a few burgers in my time, don’t tell my wife). In fact all the food is great, for breakfast or lunch. Trust me, take the time to stop and enjoy this little gem in the northern Illawarra.More

Great little coffee shop . Plenty of parking around the area . The service was excellent and fast . Ordered coffee and a bacon and egg roll . The food was excellent a bit pricey but otherwise all good .

Visited the Hargrave cafe with my partner and her family while in town. Very yummy coffee, iced coffee was great and so was the hot chocolate! The customer service was great, and we enjoyed the beautiful outdoor seating :)

We had been down the road at another establishment and received terrible service, in particular being able to cater for children. We walked up the road and found this little gem of a cafe. Wonderful friendly staff, good food and well priced. This is the...place for you if you want good coffee and a kid friendly establishment!More

My husband and I often do long walks around the area and we always come back to this gorgeous café. Staff are wonderful, food and coffee are amazing and no matter how hot the day, there is always a beautiful cool breeze blowing in the...afternoon so very relaxing to unwind after a long walk.More

Delicious lunch including green smoothie and grilled chicken salad my wife and I shared. Plenty of food, nice venue, friendly and smiling staff.

My first breakfast in Australia. Visiting from Canada my appetite was quenched with a tastey bacon sandwich. The owners are friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to return here for lunch.

Me and my husband were on a drive and stopped here for lunch. He had a really good traditional burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had delicious pancakes with maple syrup, fresh fruit and cream - enough for two! It’s hard to find a better...coffee. That’s the first thing the new owners, a nice young couple, fixed! We would definitely stop there again.More

My wife & I stop here regularly for eats after a swim on the south coast. My wife is Coeliac & Lactose Free and is well catered for with food and coffees. An owners relative is coeliac, so they have a great understanding of what’s...required. The menu varies regularly, so it’s like a fresh start everyone.More

We stopped of here for some lunch after a swim. We had the snitty burger it was terrible. It was supposed to come on Turkish bread, but it came on plain white roll. It tastes like nothing. There was no flavour to anything. There was...a basic scrape of mayo (not aioli as advertised) and even that had no flavour. Food was terrible, won’t be going back everMore
