It's a long drive to Maracas Beach. Uphill and winding roads. It's totally worth it though because of Richards Bake and Shark. There are other bake and shark sheds but Richards is the "bess". The bake is light and fluffy. The shark is filling and...More

Richard is well established and have been there for years no matter where his vending moves we will be there. Tasty bake and shark variety of sauces and beverages. Big queue but worth the wait for quality.

A most satisfying experience. Everything is well organized and you are attended to in a reasonably short time. Excellent for persons who do not have much time to spare.

Always a treat to eat at Richard's! You gotta try all the sauces. You can also ask for just the fish only if you prefer no bake :)

It's not just the delicious crispy slivers of fish, it's not just the delicious fry bake and salad, it's not the plethora of super toppings; it's all of these things combined that make bake & shark the best beach food in the world, bar none!...More

It was my husband’s first visit to the island and this was a totally new experience for him. It was amazing, tasty and satisfying. Maracas beach was buzzing and it is an experience not to be missed.

Yes, it's possible. Takes about an hour and change to get there. An hour back. say you spend an hour at Maracas, you still have a 2 hour buffer. Immigration at Piarco can take an hour or more though, so keep that in mind... More
