This was our first return visit to ten minutes by tractor since its rebuild . It’s beautiful… Everything seems to have stepped up a level. The service, the staff, the food and the wine were outstanding. We had the five course tasting menu and additional...short rib . We also matched the wines . The attention to detail with flavours and presentation of the food were fabulous. It’s worth the priceMore

Dined here for lunch as part of a Mornington getaway. Rang the restaurant ahead of time to make sure they could accomodate for my pregnant wife, and was told it wouldn't be a problem. Had the 5 course tasting menu. Hors d'oeuvres (3) were served,...of which my wife could only eat one. No substitute offered. Took over an hour to get our entree... which we had to send back as my wife couldn't eat it (contained soft cheese). Took another half an hour to come back out. Entree and first dish of scallop excellent. Pork dish was great besides the boring / bland choice of tenderloin as the main cut. Duck dish was very good. Dessert took more than 45 minutes to come out but was excellent. 5 course tasting menu took a very long 3 hours all in all. Not sure if our server didn't understand our dietary requirements, or the kitchen just didn't care. Very, very good food, but unfortunately bland, boring and impersonal service. Expected better.More

WOW, what a beautiful restaurant and stunning location. Food was Awesome and the service was faultless. Set menu which we thoroughly enjoyed the experience of eating and not having to decide anything. Love trying different foods that we normally wouldn’t eat.

This restaurant is very special, some of the nicest food we have had. We enjoyed every dish in the degustation menu, every one was presented beautifully. The service was perfect, timing between meals, level of attentiveness, we cannot fault. We will definitely be back!

While staying on the Mornington Peninsula our family group had the tasting menu lunch with the wine pairings. Every course was delicious and the staff were all very helpful and attentive.

Really special experience for our anniversary - every little detail was really well articulated, each dish was beautifully presented, even my partner who isn't big on seafood was in awe of the snapper dish and the marron, both the sauces were just super delicious and...the proteins cooked perfectly. The positivity and engagement from everyone there was so impressive, thank you Will & Jamie, and of course, the chefs!More

Our 7 course degustation dinner started off well but things headed south from the Maron course onwards. It took over 4 and a half hours to complete with a 45 minute pause between courses from maron onwards. Got to the restaurant 20 minutes before our...booking time and consulted with the Maître de if we could go to the cellar for wine tasting before our lunch but was advised against it. She said that they were busy we needed at least 25 to 30 minutes for that. She said that we could go after lunch and that the cellar door was open till 5pm. Unfortunately we finished our rather ordinary lunch experience at 5 pm hence that opportunity was gone! Sommelier was excellent. Wait staff efficient. This was a rather poor performance from the kitchen. Food at best above average and confused with conflicting flavours. Is it worth the drive out that would be a NO!More

Arrogant and poor service. At $300 a head for food you expect exceptional food , service, decor and ambiance. The service was unbelievable bad. Would not waste your money or time. So many nester places to have great food experiences. I’d do a big flick....I’m outraged but more astonished. No excuses except we are busy. Get real your charging $300 per head surely you can cater for that price point expectation and deliver the food in some timely fashion. Had to leave as just got too late to wait 11.45pm.More

These days there are Degustation menus everywhere……. but this one is very special. Here, the main ingredient in each course is presented honestly, its quintessential uniqueness revered and celebrated. A simple chicken wing is a mouthful of moist deliciousness…. a yellow sauce bursting with tomato...flavour and then there’s Venison perfection. Hayden Ellis delivers a truly amazing experience. This is one for those who truly appreciate creativity, skill and the freshest produce. Thanks Oscar and Max for your fantastic service!More

We had vouchers we wanted to use for some time and finally managed to book. Had high expectations and whilst it was good, I would not say it was great. There Is a lot of theatre and art involved in the presentation and delivery of...food. Upselling to add in some ‘extra courses’ was evident. I wish we hadn’t as it just prolonged the whole meal. Just way too long for lunch. Almost 4 hours all up. We felt trapped as we couldn’t leave as still had a few courses to go, Despite the fact that we had no wine, the bill was still over $600. Food was good, a bit over complicated but true foodies would be impressed. Highlights were the bread and butter served at the beginning and the desert.More

Classy ambiance in a winery setting. Attentive and knowledgeable service. Absolutely faultless. But the star is the food. Complex, sophisticated and with a wow factor. Every course is an absolute delight to the eyes. Multiple elements working together in dishes that provide intrigue and suspense....Delicate, classy. We live to experience food of this standard. Let my pics do the talking. I often equate price and value. Frankly, if the quality is this good I don’t care what it costs. 7 course degustation at $250 per head feels like every cent is well spent.More

I don't normally leave negative reviews of restaurants but as a vegetarian I really wanted to warn my fellow veggies that Ten Minutes by Tractor doesn't seem that great for veggies based on my experience. The first two courses were really nice (the first course...was the same course as the standard menu which maybe explains the thought and effort that went into it) but then it was all downhill from there. We ordered a supplement course of a miso-glazed eggplant and 1/3 of the slabs of eggplant was woefully undercooked, but we ate that bit first so we were unsure if it was supposed to be that way, but the other two were cooked so I think it was not intentional. The miso glaze was also really sweet, more like a caramel sauce. Then after this course the waiter came and asked if he could take the menu from our table for a bit, and we said of course but found it a bit weird. He brought it back and didn't say anything. Then, a course that wasn't on the menu came out and there was no mention of the fact that they had replaced another dish on the menu. I think this course was completely improvised because it consisted of a very vinegary-tasting undercooked risotto with some cubes of beetroot and some parsnip crisps that were more like parsnip softs. At this point we were starting to feel a bit bereft. I wish they had explained to us what was happening with the menu rather than trying to pass off this course as intentional. Then the final savoury course came out and we didn't like this one either - it was a cold mushroom pate topped with a thick onion jelly with some little pickled mushrooms and a tiny onion on top. It came with a cracker that was quite nice but it had a lot of stuff on it so you couldn't spread the pate on, and a grilled mushroom. I think some bread or crackers on the side would have improved it. But overall the mushroom dish was just very one note and we were disappointed again. Dessert was okay, but the caramel sauce that came with it had crystalised so it was quite grainy. Also every course takes about 45 minutes to come out so there is just a lot of sitting and when you aren't having the best time, it is not very fun. We were there from 6:30pm til 10:30pm. Anyway I would think twice about coming here as a vegetarian!More

Similar experience to a Diner back in Sept. We arrived at 7.40pm and left around 11.30pm for a standard 5 course meal. Food was good. The wine from the winery was also excellent. But what really dragged down the experience was how painfully slow the...courses came out. Be prepared to have a very very long night. I walked past the kitchen and staff seemed busy but given that almost all diners were having the same bog standard 5 course menu, it is unforgivable that the dinner took sooooooo longggggg. When the desserts arrived, we ate it within 5mins and immediately asked for the bill and still left around 11.30pm. The kitchen needs to up their service and they are dragging down the rest of the service staff. If your are paying $175 per head then this length of dinner is just unforgivable. I certainly won’t be coming back for some time. I’ll buy their wines and take it elsewhere to drink.More

5 stars are not enough. This is one of the finest restaurants I have eaten in. It should certainly have at least one Michelin star, if not two. Delightful in every regard. The setting, the welcome, the fabulous food and wine. Each dish was exquisite...as well as visually hitting the mark. The 5 course with wine pairing for lunch was perfect although I badly wish I had ordered the additional short rib and foi gras dish… If you are a foodie you need to come hereMore

Hello there. The price is not based on the meals themselves, but via how many courses you have. Having said that, it is so good that the prices are very reasonable considering the food you get. A brilliant place.
