Stayed here for one night prior to a morning flight from Exeter. Room was comfortable and quiet. Our dinner in the restaurant was great. We both had the home-cured Bresaola with roasted borettane onions and horseradish goats curd to start. Absolutely delicious. To follow I...More

Three dishes full of flavour and of generous portion size. Tempura starter would have benefitted from a little more dipping sauce, and at time service was a little slow. Overall a v good and enjoyable meal.

This place is in a great location for walks. We went with the family and we all had a roast. Delicious and very generous portions, the pudding were also very nice and sufficient. Highly recommend it. We will definitely go back.

As I looked around, I saw plenty of good looking, but smallish plates of food coming out. I was expecting great things for my steak.. A ribeye. Something succulent & mouthwatering. And so it arrived. The good... The mushroom, tomato, the chips and onion rings...More

If you mean the British Grand Prix circuit at Silverstone, it's about 190 miles or 3 1/2 hours.
