Traditional greek cousin with very well cooked / delicious dishes. For those familiar with wolves #1, this place carries over the same good quality. Location is not the best (or at least interesting) but is easily accesible --> beside the main road.

Quiet and comfortable restaurant along the road sorrounded by a garden. You see the available food and so the choice is easy especially for children. We had moussaka, which was better because rprepared without bechamel. Prices according to the average, around 30 eur for 2...adults and 1 child with one serving each plus water melon, coffee and drinking water.More

We are coming to this area of Chalkidiki for the fifth time I guess, but we discovered only now this gastronomic heaven and I'll try to explain why...marketing doesn't seem to be the strongest point of these guys ... at least in what concerns the...introduction of this restaurant to foreigners (I understand there's a well-known Wolves # 1 in Thessaloniki , so # 2 might be also known to locals)... it is not located in a pedestrian area, but on the road between Ormos Panagias and Vourvourou, so you can easily pass by if you don't know what it's all about... second, the meaningless name and moreover the misleading addition "Grill Restaurant"... none of them saying anything about the main type of cuisine inside... which is traditional greek ... and bear in mind this: when I say traditional greek cuisine, it's not the usual stuff that you can find everywhere on the coast: tsatsiki, dolmadakia, souvlaki, stuffed peppers, stuffed zucchini, aubergine, fishes etcetera... ok, they have these too, but the core attraction of this restaurant is literally mother-home-made food ... plus the gill specialities.... which means the lady of the place is cooking the food upon traditional recipes that are not often found elsewhere...and that's not all, most of the ingredients are coming form their own back garden ... so, we sat down , got the menu, and started to dig into a huge number of meals ...which could be difficult, in spite of clear indications in English, because you don't know much on how the meals are mixed and what vegetables and spices they used ...so , watching our indecision, the owners invited us directly in the kitchen to see with our own eyes (and taste it, can you imagine this?) whatever they had cooked already that day...geeze ! I'm not going to describe them here, enough to say that we skipped at once the written menu and pointed our fingers to the plates ! ... and by the way, it is not expensive at all... unfortunately the owners don't speak English or other but Greek, nor the waiter, so our communication was brief... and we could make them understand our surprise and thankfulness for the great food by only saying "Sas Efharisto para poli"!More

Restaurant Wolves was recommended to us by our hosts. It is owned by mature couple Sonya and Vaggelis, who have been running the business for over 40 years. Vaggelis is a professional chef and deserving recipient of numerous "GOURMET" awards. Restaurant is located along the...central road in a picturesque area surrounded by trees. We felt welcomed and valued from the first visit, so we became loyal customers with an appetite for great food. Many of the ingredients are grown in vegetable garden next to the restaurant and meticulously cared for by Sonya. Simple greek salad takes on a whole new twist, when ingredients are biological and home grown. This can be said about every single dish we tried there. Vaggelis creates different menu everyday and you are graciously invited by Sonya to restaurant's open plan kitchen for a taste of food before you order. If you get a craving for some Easter lamb on a spit, you can ask your local hotel manager to order it by phone, a day in advance, and be accommodated. We have witnessed the proceedings carried out for residents of the hotel we stayed at. Prices are very reasonable and unexpected for this level of quality. When all is said and done, sensory pleasure is difficult to describe you just have to live it....More
