The village Table is the new babe to "The Umhlanga Restaurant family". This eatery boasts a beautiful setting with a friendly hostess who greets and welcomes the guests with a sunny smile that matches our Durban weather. We had booked a table inside and the hostess was so accommodating that she even arranged for us to swap our tables so... More

Very accommodating! Glad they offered vegan choices!! The tapas were good; crab cakes with salad greens, grilled artichokes both good. Thrilled they offered two vegan options for the main course.

This is the best meal we've had... ever!!! Everything from the nice bartender and server to the perfect Decor. Ordered the trout and the torre. A perfect spot for a romantic evening complete with live Spanish guitar. The owners are also just the most wonderful people. J.I.M.P.

Wonderful selection of Tapas, salads and main courses - pricy but food is really good . Takes a bit to get food to table, but if your lucky it will be a night when they have the awesome acoustic guitarist. Food takes a bit as they make each meal as requested and the presentation of it is amazing- so you... More

This was a great place for diner. The tapas were excellent and the duck entree was great. The service was also great. The thing about this restaurant is that it is off the beaten path enough that you can get a reservation the day you want.

Thank you for your lovely review. It is true that you can normally get a reservation the day before but not if you have a large party and certainly not during the busier weeks in Telluride (holidays, President's week, Some spring break weeks). But, we have many small tables for small parties. We are so glad you enjoyed! See you... More

We chose this restaurant as we wanted a special meal to end our trip to Telluride/Mountain Village and also celebrate New Years Eve and my wife's Birthday. The location is certainly excellent and the quality of the food wonderful. The service was excellent throughout the evening. We knew in advance that the menu was more limited due to it being... The meal, the atmosphere and service were all excellent... the best of any ski area we have visited (about 20 or so). Had a terrific shrimp pasta in a clear broth, probably chicken broth and oiive oil; the shrimp were many, and sauteed with shallots and capers. My wife had a red trout, again sauteed perfectly. The setting is interesting... More

Restaurant in the mountain village within easy walking distance of inn at Lost Creek. Tapas options which makes it easy to share plates. When we visited a classical Spanish guitarist was playing. Pleasant and romantic dinner. Waitstaff could have been a bit more attentive but otherwise an excellent choice.

Thank you so much for your review. You might have been in the one day a waitress was hurt on the mountain and we were understaffed. We try very hard to have excellent service every night. We look forward to having you back! More
