Had lunch there last Sunday. The food was excellent with generous portions, and the service very attentive. The wine was a bit pricey, though.

Really tasty Sunday roast. A minor problem was quickly sorted without fuss or quibble, and gracefully. Ample portions and good value. Staff very accommodating. Quirky interior, very pleasant garden. Lavatories a bit tired but clean. Would certainly return.

Yes my partner had sausage and mash which he really enjoyed. Can’t remember what else they did but there was a good choice and fresh. Try it I’m sure you won’t be disappointed 😃

New owners who didn't understand the popularity of the previous owners and didn't build on that. Instead they were both disparaging about them (which has upset locals) and changed what is on offer. It's very sad.
