This was my first visit to Switzerland with the family. We dined at Chez Lacroix twice during our stay in Les Diablerets. The first time we had driven for 8 hours and we were all very tired and hungry. We ordered vegetable soup as starter – very tasty – and a selection of rostis as mains with a mixed side... More

Twice in a few days, we were pleased with the innovative food we were served at Chez Lacroix. Both times I washed it down with a clever beer from a Swiss micro brewery, once a 'White' and once a 'IPA' (Called locally 'JPA...). This in country, which still mainly sells run-of-the-mill beers.

Positioned opposite the railway station it is almost always full. The menu offers local specialities as well as Pizza, it copes well with the high demand from families and couples with prompt, cheerful and efficient service. The food is always well presented prepared and served. Children's menu is comprehensive and varied catering to all tastes. Costs are reasonable for Switzerland.... More

We enjoyed a couple of trips to this restaurant and also had the opportunity to try some local beers and wines. It was clearly popular with locals and visitors alike

Although I enjoyed the food (I tried a Rosti, which was great), a smile on the people who are serving could make the experience more enjoyable. Sorry guys, I know that work is sometimes hard, and smile to one and every customer can be painful, but if you correct this, you'll have a winner!... For me, 90% is the food,... More

A local village restraint where the food is consistently good. Lots of locals plus visitors enjoy food of all types, typical Swiss dishes plus many other things too. We have eaten here on a good many occasions and are never disappointed.

We stayed in Les Diablerets and this restaurant is right in-front of the station and looks nice from outside. We thought of giving this place a try and it was the right decision. The food was yum. We had some pizzas, omelettes and dessert ( was amazing and delicious). Must try if you are visiting Les Diablerets.

Good range of items on the menus, particularly if you like game. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection and the waiter was very pleasant.
