Luckily we had booked for our family of 6 as a large party followed us in for drinks . Good fire to dry out in front of and we all ate well . Pleasant and prompt service.

Great atmosphere, superb food, dog friendly. Open fires highly recommended but if your going early evening I advise booking a table.

Pie night Thursday and well worth it. Probably best pie I have had. Staff very friendly and attentive. Dogs welcome. Will be back in new year.

Fabulous food, great pies, yummy mushrooms on toast and baked camembert for starters. No room for pudding. Great service too.

Visited this lovely pub whilst staying in the village for the weekend with girls. They welcomed my noisy (barking) dog! Sunday lunch was fabulous, staff were really welcoming. Would highly recommend. We will be back very soon!! Thank you.

The pub is accessible for wheelchairs in the main bar and Old Kitchen. Unfortunatley we do not have disabled toilet facilities. I hope this helps Thank you Melanie

Definitely! Proper old fashioned pub but families are made very welcome. The chef is flexible!

Good evening This is the friendliess pub I ever went into - they like humans & dogs. All made to feel welcome. Food fabulous as well.
