Such sad news that this restaurant is closing down/changing the chef after all these years. My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for the last 20 years and have always had very fond memories of it. We always sit downstairs where it's cosy and with the locals. The chef comes out to say hello each time and... More

Lots of Klosters restaurants have gotten too big for their boots. Salzi's is very down home and cozy and the food is excellent. We got a reservation last minute in smoking section, but it was very well ventilated, and full of locals. A very jolly experience. Chef is the owner-very amicable.

Just got back from dinner here tonight. The Kase fondue is really excellent, the best in town;we always eat here at least once when we visit Klosters. All the supporting food is great too.

One a well made version of the tourists fondue the other a delightful rustic platter and much more. Old building with some character run by an owner chef. Very pleasant.

Owner is chef so consistency is assured. Great salads, lovely selection of various vegetables (with nice sauces etc) served with main meals (such as their very good veal schnitzels and nice Apple Strudel. Good value for money by Swiss standards

We had a long weekend in Klosters and ate here twice. The food was excellent, served in a warm informal atmosphere and offered good value by Swiss standards. It seems to be always busy even when the resort is quiet and attracts a lot of locals, which must be a good sign.

Charming old building. Very welcoming staff. It has an air of being a local place that you've discovered, though it isn't because all the ski instructors I've had mention it for fondue. Very nice food. No trip to Klosters is complete without a fondue dinner here.

I have just returned from staying in this guesthouse, it was great. The staff were very helpful, smiley, chatty and welcoming - although it is more of a restaurant than a guesthouse. The lady who runs it was amazing, one night she woke up and made me a sandwich at about 3am - she demands respect but I thought she... More

Salzi's Sonne offers really good food in a nice atmosphere. Like many restaurants, it is part of a hotel (or in this case a guest house). The main dining area is on the second floor, with a small room on the ground floor that allows smoking which is definitely a minority in Davos-Klosters. The dining area is separated into different...
