We were a table of four there for a celebration. We were offered one drink throughout service and only ordered our mains... Not one person came to ask if we wanted more drinks or dessert - had they asked we would have. There is a real opportunity to make some money in here if the staff were actually trained. Sadly, service across the bay seems to be sub par in most venues and the only thing that takes the edge off is the view. The menu choices we made had one of us extremely happy with his choice of the curry, authentic, spicy and a ton better than he expected. There were 2 fish cake orders and a burger and sadly they were not what was expected. The fish cakes were more akin to a pakora which was not expected. Also, it is 2020 can we please stop with the sweet balsamic garnish - please.... Some very easy fixes could make this place match the view and be an exceptional choice - right now though it does need some attention.

The location is outstanding and the view is spectacular. We visited every morning for a coffee during our holiday. We also visited for the happy hour and dinner on one evening and got some great cocktails and a fabulous bottle of Sangiovese at good prices. The fiesta tapas was delicious too!

Enzo's has a fabulous spot overlooking the water, right on the beach but sadly has squandered this prime real estate with some poor decisions on the food front. It's lovely to have a sunset drink or cocktail here (although our happy hour cocktails seemed a bit watered down) and we thought it would also be great to have dinner there. Sadly, the menu is a bit confused and all over the place from Indian to Asian to Italian and everything in between, and it seems it doesn't do any of it very well. Myself and a number of our group chose the Rib Fillet thinking being so close to the Beef Capital of QLD (Rockhampton) it would be fabulous. Hands down one of the worst steaks I've eaten out, general consensus was it was a cheap, gristly piece of meat not prepared or cooked well. Those in our group who had the Indian and gnocchi specials were also very underwhelmed. One of our group had to wait for 10 minutes after everyone had their meals for his salmon to be delivered, only to find it extremely overdone. Interesting to note that there was not one locally caught fish of the day dish despite being a coastal restaurant. We were told there was nothing worth eating locally caught. A 5 minute walk down the road is a seafood shop selling very fresh, locally caught fish - the line out the door suggests it's worth eating. I would not recommend eating here, the only reason I've still given it an average 3 score is due to it's scenic location.

Meals were not well presented on the plate and quantity was not worth the $30 that it cost for the salmon Meal.. music was noisy and heavy drum beat not conducive to eating a pleasant meal. Decor and table setup was of poor standard even for a cafe would not go there again

Well over the years we've eaten out for breakfast quite a lot and had so inme quite good meals. Food was reasonably priced but unfortunately the girl taking the orders was quite abrupt and unfriendly to my wife when she asked for avocado on toast, something was mumbled and my wife asked her to repeat that because she didn't quite hear and the cashier was quite abrupt with her reply again. My wife came back to the table disgusted and said she had never been spoken to like that in a restaurant before, I had bacon and poached eggs on toast, I think the toast was just stale untoasted rye bread, the bacon was extraordinarily greasy like it been in a bain marie for a long time. The eggs were ok. I just asked for water and when it came all of our glasses were filthy, I went to get more glassware and it was just as bad with stuff stuck in the bottom like the dishwasher wasn't working or something, now that was gross. The music was thump thump thump and others around us complained about it. The view was fantastic out over the ocean but overall a very disappointing experience. We won't be back

With a gorgeous location and a park right next door, this esplanade coffee shop has a high flow of foot traffic. But after visiting on a Saturday morning and purchasing some drinks and muffins, we won't be venturing back. It was very busy by 9:30am, the staff were confused and often tripping over themselves dealing with dine-in and takeaway customers, no prices were visible (although there were some menus but nothing obvious for takeaway) and the experience was underwhelming. A takeaway order for some muffins and drinks totalled $70 and even then it was messy and confusing. Not enough spoons/forks to eat the muffins and cream with, and the staff weren't even sure what they had in stock.

Endos is in a lovely location, right on the beach but this means that if it is windy it gets very cold- no heaters around just blankets offered. The meals and drinks were very nice but definitely not generous at all. We both ordered a Margarita and the glass was only half full- at $18 each I would at least expect a full glass! Same with the wine measures and the meals. My husband had the Green curry scallops, and while it was very tasty it only came with three very small scallops- so it was pretty much a vege curry for $34. Mine was the lamb shanks for $38 and, once again, very tasty but just a small shank, some mash and two stalks of broccolini. Service was friendly and helpful and the meals came out quite quickly.

We went there in a small group for lunch one weekend. The restaurant was busy and we were limited to one hour dining. A few of us ordered Laksa from their blackboard menu. The $16 Laksa came in their own style! Unlike the Laksa we were familiar with, this one was a soup with a few prawns, a pathetic portion of veggie and vermicelli. All we could taste was coconut milk and pre-packed Laksa sauce. Nothing like a good Laksa. Obviously the portion would not fill us up so we requested for more vermicelli. The extra vermicelli came in a tiny container that did not even fill one mouthful! Charged us an extra $2! We left in 30 mins and went to a nearby cafe for coffee and cake.

As a group of six adults we went there for lunch. We had a reservation and were placed at a long table with high stools. Not the most comfortable way to sit, but the place was relatively busy with seating restrictions. That day it rained on and off but eventually the sun came out and it proved less windy as this place is open air. Some ordered from the blackboard the curry of the day with naan bread. I chose beef cheeks and a side bowl of vegies and there was a vegetarian meal with halloumi corn and salad, and the other crispy skinned salmon with beans chips and greens, lastly a plate of smoked salmon with freshly mixed salad. As they were very busy service was slow and one server forgot our second drink orders which had to be reordered after a long wait. The food was good however. My beef cheeks tender and succulent. The curry was well liked. Everyone enjoyed the food. Next time will request a lower table and proper chairs for comfort. Other than that it had a great seaview plenty of parking if carpark is full there's road parking and playground nearby. I recommend the place.

We stopped off for a quick lunch this year on our way home: dog in tow as usual who was welcomed. We were seated without fuss overlooking the ocean and ordered two burgers with fries (one gluten free). These arrived quickly and were delicious. My icy malted milk was also great. Definitely recommended.

We were really looking forward to dining at Enzos as it’s such a lovely location. We pre-booked our group and guaranteed with credit card details, a large booking of 14 on the low / beach facing tables which were confirmed in our email communications with the restaurant. On arrival we were seated in the back close to the kitchen. In addition our food came out at different times (which I can somewhat understand as we had a large group) however most of the dishes were cold. The young waitstaff we had was lovely and helpful, other staff made us feel a little like an inconvenience. The concept and menu were great - it was just a different reality to what we expected and unfortunately we felt that the quality associated with the venue name wasn’t there on our visit.

Beautiful location on the water and great atmosphere however we dined here twice in 3 days, once for dinner and then for lunch, and on both occasions ingredients where left off plates. We let it go at dinner (no chickpeas in salad) but at lunch when the smoked trout salad was missing the actual trout and the vegetarian feast was missing avocado, corn salsa and all the seeds, a complaint had to be made. The missing components where finally bought to the table (still didn’t get any of the seeds) but by this stage our meals were nearly finished. Mentioned our disappointment again when paying our bill but only got a “oh really, sorry about that”. Hopefully the staff can pay more attention to the finer details in the future.

One of the best breakfasts i have had!!! You must book a table ahead of time as they get very busy and dont take walkins atm. Seating is for hour sessions only... So if you after brekky, coffee and a chit chat after, then this place isnt for you or maybe you can go to the park next door after brekky. They also do Take-Aways Great value for money, service was great, food came out reasonably quick and it was to die for. Did not disappoint. Very generous servings too! Highly recommend, even if its just for a coffee and the view!

Why does it seem that just because a Restuarant has a great view By the beach he thinks he can get away with the menu that is overstated and under delivered in the great tradition of Australian wanna be cusine. I ordered a lemon lime and bitters, the calamari salad with a wasabi dressing, some sweet potato fries and a cappuccino to take away. The words on the menu promised something special, but what I received was under cooked heavy oily calamari in a soggy crumb amd half a dozen pieces of tired lettuce from the woollies reject bin and mayonnaise that had had wasabi waved over it - Kraft brand by the taste of it. Lemon lime and bitters had so much ice in it I was flat out finding any of the drink, and the takeaway coffee took about 10 minutes to deliver and I wasn’t allowed to remain at the table while thry bought it to me. Time for the mail from order to table for 16 minutes 30 seconds. Do yourself a favour, there are some excellent takeaway restaurants on the other side of the road away from the beach – buy your food there walk over to the beach and sit on a rock. You’ll have a far better feed. 1 star.

Waited 40 mins for overcooked bacon and eggs on dry toast, with burnt halloumi. No salt and pepper, no butter and did not offer water upon table service. Waiters were oblivious and slow to retrieve our meal after being asked. Used to be the go to place for breaky, now not so much.
