We visited here on the mission to conquer all the wineries on KI and although this place is a bit out of the way but the drive down there is beautiful and so worth it. If you're visiting here you should check out Cape Willouhby lighthouse as well the view there is breathtaking. Back to this winery. This place attracts... More

We learned from the local paper that Chapman River was re-opening for four days over Easter, and hot-footed it there for a superb lunch. What a pity that it only opens for special occasions. If you get a chance to go, don't miss it!

The quality of the wine we tried was average, although we did grab a bottle of the Rose which was definitely their best offering. On the day we visitied, we were told the cellar door was closing for good in a few days so this review may not be much help to other travellers.

We popped in here for the food platters as we were told by a local that it was the place to go. You're greeted by a corrugated iron sculpture and once indoors you can taste their wines or have a glass with one of their stunning platters of local produce - $25 per person & great value. Nice place to... More

Went for tasting with couple friends. The lady working there Helen, was so rude to us. The setup there is beautiful but she detracts from it completely. Couldn't believe it, the comments she was making could only be described as rude. Took an immediate dislike to one of my friends. Very unprofessional for someone representing the company. Ended up leaving... More

We visited this place after seeing it on Getaway TV show. Very relaxed feel with comfortable seats and tables in a big barn type building. The manager looked after us as if we were v.i.p guests. The platter was fantastic, fresh cold meats, pickled vegetables, bread, salads and more. The wines we tasted were all good and we had the... More

What a wonderful place! Quirky place that use to be the plane hanger. Combustion fire, paintings, sculptures, lounges. Great hosts who have real conversations with you. Loved the Chardonnay - bought some to take home. Very generous measure @ only $6 a glass. Shared platter - fantastic - amazingly generous, great variety - meats, cheeses, olives, bread and amazing crackers,... More

This is a wonderful place to eat. It is in a barn, with relaxed furnishings and interesting art work on the walls. The hosts were most pleasant and welcoming. The shared platter was lovely with a great selection of foods to share. They even catered for a gluten free diet. To be recommended. Apparently it is soon to change hands.... More

We came upon this winery after a bit of a trek on difficult roads but it all worthwhile. The welcome is warm and friendly, the knowledge of the wines is excellent. Highly recommend this place.

We visited here on a Saturday. It was a bit of a treck on unsealed roads and wasn't all that inspiring to look at. However the service was very helpful and friendly and the platter of local food was to die for. Cheeses, salami, ham, little quiches and pastries, chargrilled veggies, crusty bread and olives and I could go on...... More
