Fish and chips and fish tacos for a late lunch early dinner accompanied by an alcoholic ginger beer. Was simple and simply delicious. Everything freshly cooked and so tasty. Would recommend the ginger beer if you are a ginger beer fan.

Lunch with the son in law: my choice. Lovely waiter, quick service and fantastic quality. I had a box of fish bites, prawn, scallop and the best softest most delicious calamari I have ever had. A side of potato cakes and a glass (or two)...of wine. So happy. I shall be back xMore
Great welcome, helpful waitress and excellent food. Perfect for a delicious lunch. I would hope to visit again when returning to Melbourne.
Fresh fish and extensive interesting menu choices. Fish, calamari, salads, burgers & more. Check out menus online or just go, it's great. Pricing good. Drink choices a plenty. The Service was great too, thanks. We will be back.
Came in on a Saturday night. As an elderly group we were sat out in the back room. It was freezing with the Airconditioning on cold and they couldn’t adjust to heat It was so noisy with several tables of young people drinking and virtually...screaming. Wanted coffee at the end as they did not have desert but were told they did not have a coffee machine. However the nice waiter offered to go across the road to buy a coffee. But this took half an hour. Food was very good and have never had an issue here in the past as regular diners. But have always sat in the front and did not need a warm drink. But it was a cold Melbourne night. Left after one of our group felt faint at the noise. Won’t be backMore
This restaurant has great potential. The floor staff are well trained for a start. I was able to discuss my order to get what I wanted and I was brought water and wet wipes (for after). I noticed that tables were cleared quickly and wiped...down. The food has great potential, too. My fish fillet was a large serve and came with a good supply of chips, tartare sauce, and a juicy wedge of lemon. Where things let me down was the chips were not hot. They had waited too long for the fish and that was a tad too cooked. All that said, I would come back.More
Convenient location on Chapel Street. Easy parking and great atmosphere. The service was quick and efficient and the food was fantastic. Unfortunately the oysters were not available so we missed out. Otherwise great seafood platter. Also recommend the fish tacos!
If you like a decent chippy, look no further. Great location, great menu, good prices and a big plate full of fresh fish and crispy chips. We were very impressed and struggled to finish. Absolutely delicious! The onion rings tings were a meal on their...own. Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Fast, friendly service and doesn’t break the bank either.More
Absolutely delicious food. Went for lunch and shared six dishes, all were excellent. Service was very good too as was the house beer.
Could not be bothered cooking tonight so i dropped into Tommy Ruffs at Windsor. Had the baramundi with morrocan spice, the tommy ruff salad and a side of chips. It was delicious. thanks
This place is a charming find with a casual and laid back ambience but with food quality that would match a fancy seafood restaurant. I love seafood and to get it right, it has to be fresh. The grilled fish was very fresh and the...Orange Roughy fish was light and flakey. The calamari was lightly battered and seasoned with a soft texture but tasty! Washed down with a couple glasses of white wine! It was my cousin’s birthday and the friendly staff threw in a lovely apple fritter with ice cream. A great place with great food and good value without breaking the piggy bank.More
Accidentally found the place. Serve good fish and chips and nice tap beer. The staff is friendly and helpful. On of the good fish and chips I have tasted.
I’m not usually a big fan of fish and chips but this place does it very well! Great fish and chips, not at all greasy, very fresh and very tasty! Friendly service, great menu, plenty to choose from. Southern fried fish tacos are awesome! MEOW!
We visited Tommy Ruffs for a mid week meal! I ordered the salmon, super food salad and rice and was not disappointed. They make it fresh, salmon cooked well done and nice sized portions. Topped it off with a caramel milkshake (weird combo I know)...but really delicious. Not cheap, but good quality food.More
I wanted to like this place more than I did. Had dinner with the family and we didn't not like the food, just for some reason it all didn't seem to click. I felt there was a lack of choice for Kids, if there was...a kids menu we weren't given it and then after we had ordered we saw there were specials but were not informed about them. The place was warm and clean, the service adequate and the wife and I were happy with our meals. Not sure I would rush back there again.More
